Stressed out

I need an A* in maths or further maths. Basically core pure 1 went fine, got around 65-68 marks. But core pure 2 fucked me so hard. I’ve counted my marks and got around 35. I’ve been getting A* in all my mocks, but I got thrown off so hard and now my confidence is knocked. I’m more than capable of getting an A* but I’m so stressed out it’s insane. For further maths it’s like okay I just need a B, but when they are questions I know how to do and I just panicked it makes me really anxious. And with the A* in maths there is like no room for error.

Do Russian infantry tactics have any practical applications outside of Ukraine?

Throughout the war in Ukraine we’ve seen rather interesting infantry tactics. The most interesting one for me is the role of infiltration. More specifically, 4 men squads being sent as far behind enemy lines as possible, told to sit tight and just cause havoc. Probably more nuanced than that so do excuse me. Point is, current Ukrainian conditions mean the battlefield is incredibly sparse infantry wise, with drones filling the gaps. So, are any western military thinkers (or even Chinese) going ”yeah we need infiltration like Russia this is so cool”, or are Russian tactics only applicable to current Russian conditions?

How long before an operation should troops know about it?

In order for troops to do their job effectively, for the most part at least, it probably isn’t a bad idea to tell them about the operation before they deploy. This post is primarily inspired by the war in Ukraine, in which we heard stories of VDV troops not being told about hostomel until they were on the helicopter. Whether or not these rumours are true, I don’t know. But if I am an airborne troop akin to that of the VDV, how long before a hostomel type operation do I actually need to know about it? I don’t really need to know that plans are underway 6 months before they happen. Likewise, it seems unwise to only tell me on the helicopter there. I am talking not at the officer level, but at the lowest soldier level.

What happened to the Russian assault tank?

Some time ago pictures came out of these prototype Russian tanks, alongside blueprints of an alleged “assault tank”. I appreciate no one probably knows, and like a lot of Russian prototypes or experimental models it probably got scraped, but if anyone has any info I’d be curious to know. Thanks
