M4 break in period

I’m getting an x drive competition tomorrow . It’s has about 275 miles on it

I understand the break in period to be 1200 miles and then take it in to get tuned.

Are there any modes or configurations I should avoid , or best practices before the tuning ?

Thanks in advance

M4 spec

I’m looking at this spec - technically used but with only 280 miles. Anything missing that I’ll regret not having?

I’m looking at new and 1-2 year old M4s. Anyone with strong opinions about whether to set my sights on a certified pre owned vehicle. Obviously there’s a lot less of them, but is it worth it ?

What M4 should I get?

Any suggestions on trims, competition versus manual, and what features to avoid (if any) ? I’m by no means a purist and looking at m4s mostly because they’re fast and cool looking and in the basic price range I can afford +-80-90k. I’ll drive 3-5k miles a year for a 3-5 years and then probably sell it.

I live and work in Cleveland so the roads and weather suck , and although I love the idea of a manual shift, I’m not sure I’ll be into it with stop and go traffic.

I’m leaning towards a 2025 or 2026 competition model, but also considering holding out for a manual model
