Slow traveling through Spain, what are your must do's in Barcelona? Also, where are some great places to eat?

I find it very attractive when you see a man genuinely enjoying his children. I'm wondering if anyone else thinks so? What other normal things do you find attractive?

My mom has been in a nursing home receiving therapy for over a year. I'm extremely proud of her. She's worked hard and is now qualified to be able to live in assisted living. We put a down payment at a facility, thinking it would be several months before a room would be available. A room became available very quickly. I am her only family support, I told her I don't have any extra gas in the tank, but I'm gased just doing the things I'm currently doing. I see her once a week to take her to doctors' appointments, do bills, take her to stores, and go out to lunch.

She signed the lease to this assisted living facility by herself before my questions were asked or answered, not cool, but she's in her right mind and can make her own decisions. I would have preferred being there to make sure she is not getting taken advantage of, but then she tries to manipulate me into rushing and getting her moved in the new place by saying the nursing home is releasing me tomorrow and I'm paying two rents right now! I can't afford that! I told her I could only help her move on the day I normally see her and not extra days because I'm tired and have a tight schedule the rest of the week. AITAH?

Edited for context- I'm scheduled 17 hours a day, 5 days a week, because I'm up at 7am, homeschool my 2 children 8-12pm and then work 1-11pm, home at midnight. I see my mom on the day the kids go to a tutorial before I have to go to work, and my husband and I have one day off together on Sunday.

She also lied. I tell the nursing home when she is leaving, they don't tell her and she can afford two rents for one month. The difference is that she wanted to be moved in the same week she signed the lease, I wanted to move her in slowly over 3 weeks, being completely moved by the end of the month. AITAH?

I'm planning a trip yo NYC solely to spend time looking at art. I'd love to get suggestions on the best exhibits and galleries, especially if you only had 4 says there.
