Thinking about starting lotrlcg

How’s the current situation for starting to play LOTR LCG? I’ve started playing Arkham Horror and I really enjoy it. The availability there is a bit limited though, since several sets are out of print.
I really like LOTR and it would be nice to get into LOTR LCG as well. However, I don’t want to hunt down sets that cost a fortune on the secondary market or chase specific “must-have” cycles that are really hard to get hold of.
What would you say is a good base to start playing in a sensible way? What’s your experience with acquiring the different expansions?

Batterie charging and draining

My MacBook Pro M3 keeps draining its battery all the time. I use it relatively rarely, around 1–2 times a week. Most often I just browse the internet or play a game some evening during the weekend. During weekdays it usually just sits untouched.

When I check the battery usage, it drops by about 20% per day even when I’m not using it, so it becomes completely discharged from just sitting closed from Monday to Friday.

What do batteries think about this kind of usage? Is it okay for it to sit completely discharged, or should I keep it plugged in all the time? It feels like it would consume quite a bit of electricity if it stays connected constantly.

Do you have the same experience with MacBook batteries draining like this? An Apple/Mac repair shop checked it and said the power consumption is normal. What would you do?
