Nappy rash advice

Hi! First time dad with a two week old who has nappy rash which won’t go away and it looks really sore.

We’re cleaning with organic cotton wool and water every time she goes, allowing to dry and then applying a thin layer of weleda before putting a nappy back on (using kit and kin).

She’s well fed (breast milk) and I think part of the problem is that she poos once every 1-2 hours so it feels like we’re fighting a losing battle.

We’ll speak to the GP but wondered if anyone had experienced this and if so if that had any tips.

Getting cupboard to fit

Live in a victorian house where the walls are quite straight and so mis-judged the gap needed to fit a new cupboard

Other than removing skirting boards, does anyone have any good ideas how to make this fit?

Poor work completed by tradesman (Northampton)

What are my rights to withhold pay a tradesman their final payment until the work has been completed to a satisfactory standard?

I won’t go until the full details but after completing a significant amount of work for me, there is one area where the work is unquestionably poor and the item is currently not fit for purpose.

i have not refused to pay outright, just until
the work is completed and all items are working. since informing of this, they have made no attempt
to try to correct the error
