How do you handle the cost of dating (time & money)

Just out of curiosity. I'm an older woman (and a newcomer, so sorry for mistakes). Could you please explain how do young people manage dating in Vancouver nowadays?
As far as I understand, each time you go on a date, you spend money, time, and effort that can be spend on smth else (new skills, hobbies, friends, sleep, etc.)?
In my home country, there are much less opportunities and interesting things to do for young people. So you are basically dating or get boooored. In Vancouver, with it's amazing nature and infrastructure, young people always have smth fun to do, especially when they are still students with all the almost-free clubs and events in universities.
Actually, I look at people 20+ and see that all their free time slots are fully packed with additional side-jobs & studies, hobbies, hangouts with friends. So if they decide to date (and spend time and money on dating), they'll have to significantly reduce these activities that are so important for them and thus their quality of life will reduce as well. So dating isn't free, you pay a hefty price for it, don't you?

Desperate about sizing

I need to replace these nice one-year-old Arizona's since my little toes literally broke through the cork edge and now the cork crumbles and falls out. These are 39Narrow and even with narrow my feet slide forward when I walk. Should I go with 39Reg or 40Nar?
Thank you for advice! It seems that I'm doing something wrong :-((((((

Is it legal on Hinge to look only for people speaking your native language?

Hi! Sorry for a strange question. I'm asking for a friend. Is it legal in Canada to explicitly mention on Hinge that you're looking only inside your culture (considering only matches sharing your native language)? Is it ok to create a profile (except for a short intro) using your native language instead of English or French?
