I’ve gone through stages. When I first began following football, nearly every rumor caught my attention. After I realized most rumors were BS, I only placed trust in tier 1 sources, or those held in high esteem by the community. Fast forward more than a decade, and I’m now convinced even “insiders” are largely blowing smoke, approximating, and throwing darts. It seems only credentialed journalists that are close to specific competitions and/or clubs are worth paying any attention to, and even that can he shaky.

Watching Ramano post something, credible or not, and likely fed to him by an agent, only for trusted “insiders” to immediately repost his information without citation, has been eye-opening.

PSG the real EPL champions?

Salah, KDB, and now Haaland— should the latter leave for Madrid, what superstars will the EPL have left?
