New to sim racing and already completely addicted. Need your advice!
Hi everyone!
I’m completely new to sim racing. I started about a month ago with Forza Horizon 6 and a Logitech G923. I quickly became obsessed, so I upgraded to a Sim-Lab GT1 Evo rig and a Simagic Alpha Evo 9 Nm / GT Neo / P700 bundle.
Since then I’ve tried Assetto Corsa, ACC, Le Mans Ultimate, and finally iRacing. I honestly fell in love with iRacing.
After only the first two weeks of Season 3 in the Mazda Cup, and after 7 races, I managed to get my first win at Navarra. I was so happy!
The thing is… I know almost nothing about real circuit driving. I’d love to learn everything: braking techniques, trail braking, tire management, racecraft, setups, telemetry, and basically how to become a better driver.
I’m very curious and enjoy learning, so if you have any advice, resources (YouTube channels, books, websites, telemetry tools, etc.), or things you wish you had known when’s you started, I’d really appreciate it!
