Short introduction of my self. In 2021 I was involved in a accident that caused nerve damage to my right leg, nearly 12 months to walk using a supported boot as I had drop foot due to it. Fast forward to today still struggling with mobility, family want me to use my crutch to help walking more steadily, the thing is I feel embarrassed doing so I think it’s more I’m having to admit abit of defeat and dented pride. How did people adjust and accept the help from an aid?
