Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy gazing into the deep blue, but sometimes I wish I might occasionally see dolphins riding my bow wave, or a whale breaching in the distance. Granted, there’s probably a lot about the lore of SoT that I don’t know because I haven’t looked into it much so far, but I can’t help but think that there’s no way the megs and krakens could get that big on a diet of fish, sharks, pirates and ships. I’m not saying that these things would need to happen all the time, but it would make the world feel more alive and give it some more verisimilitude.
I realise that it’s probably not a priority for Rare or even the majority of players, but what kind of sea life would you like to see more of?

I want to be clear that this question is driven more by fear caused by transphobia than by doubt, so any anti-trans lurkers who might be reading should know that they can’t coerce me into being cis. It doesn’t work that way anyway.
As for my question, I’m wondering if I could hear some stories of how some of you who have detransitioned navigated it? Did things ever go back to the way they were before or were they always different?
The logician in me says that even once I start transition, detransition will always be a slight possibility, in a similar way to how being in a car accident or having an airliner fall on your head is always a slight possibility.
I just feel like I’d face similar social problems with potential detransition as I will with coming out - family not understanding, asking uncomfortable questions, bringing it up at the worst time…my family lack emotional intelligence more than anyone I’ve ever met.
I’m confident that I’m going to come out eventually, but for those who did ultimately detransition…were you able to return happily to that prior identity? Do people ever bring it up?
