Although I do believe we can still turn it around once our pitching gets over the hiccup they are in right now, it’s pretty concerning that we are the worst against contending teams. The top three division leading teams didn’t fit into the screenshot but their records are all better.

EDIT: I see a lot of people talking about the offence and I agree they are terrible, but one thing that was pretty consistent is we had good pitching. I was mainly mentioning that in June we went from a decent staff to one of the worst, but I don’t think it will stay that way on the pitching side going forward.

Has anyone else noticed more bus drivers checking fares?

Just want to say that it’s something good I noticed recently. A lot of bus rides I have recently taken have had bus drivers chewing out riders that aren’t paying, or people who enter bus stations through the road side. Half the time they make sure they leave before moving. Maybe there was some sort of internal meeting or something.

Hoffman is nearly negating Varland’s WPA.

It’s crazy that we have the best closer in the league, and also Jeff Hoffman. Varland is putting this team on his back with historic numbers, he should honestly get more recognition than Mason Miller since he is doing it on this team with the state it is in.
