I am getting same package offer from both Hyderabad and Pune

Pune is inhouse support role

Hyderabad is client facing Role.

Which can be better?

I recently got an offer from Wipro Hyderabad at 15 LPA. On paper it looks like ~45% hike, but when I break it down, I’m not feeling great about it.

• ₹1.5L is variable (so not guaranteed)
• Higher salary → higher tax, feels like ~₹1L+ yearly goes there
• PF deduction also increases
• Gratuity is part of CTC (so not actual take-home)

After all this, my actual in-hand increase looks like maybe ₹10–12K/month at best. Honestly, my current company could probably match that.

Also not sure how reliable the variable payout is.

Two questions:

1. Does this offer actually make sense financially, or am I missing something?
2. Is it realistic to negotiate and convert variable into fixed?

Right now, the overall feel is a bit underwhelming despite the “big” hike.

Would appreciate honest opinions 🙏
