A year ago I was looking for co-founders and developers to build a SaaS with me.
Nothing really happened.
Eventually I realized that if I wanted to build something, I’d have to learn how to do it myself.
So I started learning.
My first idea failed. Looking back, I was probably too slow and never got it off the ground.
But this time is different.
For the past few months I’ve been building a productivity app completely on my own. The beta is already live, people can sign up, and Stripe is sitting there waiting for me to switch from sandbox to production.
And that’s where things get weird.
For years, building a software business felt like some distant dream. Something other people did.
Now I’m literally one decision away from launching, and instead of being excited, I’m scared.
Not because the app might fail.
But because it might actually work.
Did anyone else experience this before their first launch?
