Powerlifting past my peak, how do I break my PRs

Hey guys I was hoping to get some advice as I transition from competing to powerlifting just to get stronger. My all time peak was 530/355/660 about 2 years ago. I've since transitioned from my coach to juggernaut ai and it's been very helpful as I found I was stagnating with my coach and was stable if not declining. I found my old programs to be limited in exercises and not hitting my weak points to which now with juggernaut I've incorporated front squats and other variations that I am quite weak on. I still find that my lifts are quite weak and not at the same level as I previously used to hit. Sometimes weight that I had hit dozens of times at lower RPEs feel much harder.

I was wondering for those who have been lifting 10+ years like me, what advice you would have. Is it that I'm not recovering enough? (I currently run 4 days a week, peaking on the 4th week).

My goal is to get stronger and stay functionally fit. I do 4 powerlifting days, 2 cardio and 1 day training mountaineering.

Questions about Western FM Residency

Hey guys,

I was wondering if any current or past Western FM residents could shed light onto the program at Western. What are the opportunities regarding EM, surgical assist work available? What do the FM blocks look like? Are they all clinic or do certain locations allow for more EM, urgent care, hospitalist, procedures!

Why aren't there bigger initiatives to green our city

Can someone explain to me why we don't increase our tree coverage on roads with trees on the islands splitting roads?

Why do we have so much damn grass everywhere beside side walks, etc that does nothing for us. Why can't we have actual trees, shrubs and native flowers growing everywhere.

Why do we not spend more time planning real coverage especially downtown and the surrounding areas especially with these growing heat concerns. The amount of times I walk around and it's just full bright sunlight scorching my skin when the area could be reasonably shaded is ridiculous.

Why doesn't Kanata have a hospital?

The Queensway carleton hospital is always overburdened and between the Kanata-stittsville area there are 150,000 people. Given that population size, shouldn't we be investing in our own community hospital by now?

Hey guys,

Just wondering for 4th year as it comes up. I'm planning on doing 90% of my electives at my home town UOttawa. I was wondering if there is anything I should take into account. I'm planning to only apply to family med programs as I'm MOTP. 'd ideally like to go to pembroke! My goal is the EM if that matters! Could anyone share some insight into the process and if I should try and go to more outside electives in case?
