[RBOW general] Just finished first vol...

First Question: Will Ding Songyan develop his own cultivation art or something?? Cause simply I can't accept him cultivated that bullshit candlelight thing...

Secondly with a quick internet research I did, Hundun appears to be a mythological beast that likes evil people ( I don't know how accurate that is) but here CF (true to his feelings of naver making a grey MC ) portrays it as something overly aligned to the good side. I hoped it was some more grey.

Having read his previous cultivation Novel, I know who will be his future gf. It is without a shred of doubt Ji Hanyi. I could say that basically the premise is the same as in his previous novel. The protagonist meets the demoness who leads him by the nose and keeps him alive to use him later. Then something happens and they can't kill eachother ( basically the demoness can't kill him ) and then something else happens and they spend time together. The fact that the demone ate the chaos core, will help her regain her emotions. Not now but certainly in the future... I hope I am wrong...

This novel has many premises used in LotM and Sage that transcended Samasara ( hos other cultivation novel). I find it both ok and sometimes annoying expecting something new and fresh from CF.

There is one good thing though that maked me happy. CF severed his MC from any family bonds and set him free. I couldn't accept one more MC playing family with a bunch of strangers that just spent a week with them. It doesn't make sense for fucks sake. Unfortunately it wasn't out of MC's choice but because of the plot. I don't mind the plot, I just don't like what this means when it comes to the MC's character development...

These are some of the thoughts I had reading the novel so far . I hope People will enlighten me with the cultivation questions

[RBOW general] In accordance to CF's interview, do you think our protagonist will become at most a Sage??

He said that he isn't going to make the protagonists one of reaching the peak and that he will let it is the end to the readers imagination ( at least that's what I got from the interview) . So he will be strong but not a God or something. He wants to retain as much of human realm as possible.

[Lotm general] How is the new novel of the Cuttlefish ??

For those that have been up to date, is it good so far ?? Secondly how is the translation?? Because I read the first 2 chapters and it was tragic. It was definitely an AI slop by CKtalon. Still I can't accept that he has done such a bad job. Please tell me that it becomes better.

I still can't believe Granbell acted so naive...

The man was a former hero. Someone that could fight Luminous and yet acted so naive ?!?!? Thinking that a little girl with just a skill could take 2 demon lords and one of them Millim ?? Also someone that has been scheming for so long and with his wealth if experience, he should have known that Individuals like Yuuki shouldn't have been easy to manipulate or Rimuru to lose. I think the whole plan was full of wholes ffs!!!

Really bad writing by the author. Also why didn't Rimuru go after her skill??

Anime only here but you can speak freely in this thread

Question about Mariabel and Demon lords and their equivalents

In the new episode , Mariabel speaks about what a big mistake is too keep Rimuru in the council and I agree completely. From an outside perspective her reasoning was completely right. In fact her speech in front of Yuuki was right. So her doing everything so thay Rimuru and Tempest don't become a member of the council is right. We all know that sooner or later the council will follow Rimuru and become their subordinate.

My question though different. Aren't there human equivalent to demon lords ?? Or to be more precise characters that are equivalent to demon lords like titled Heroes or something?? I read somewhere that Leon before he became a demon lord was a hero. Someone that could rival Demon lords. Aren't there any such characters out there?? How close are Hinata and Yuuki?? What about the hero that won against Veldora and sealed him ??

Question about the new episode

Does Rimuru ans co believe that Yuuki Kagurazaka was actually under Mariabel's spell?? Or they think that there is also a chance that he is faking it ??

Don't they think that someone on Yuki's lvl would have some resistance. We saw what happened with Clayman and Millim. Isn't that same with Mariabel and Yuki?? That man definitely hides his strength.

At this moment in anime who is stronger Benimaru or Hinata or Diablo??

That's my question. Although I feel it's kind if idiotic since we supposedly know that with the fight between Rimuru and Hinata, it was established that she is very very strong. Rimuru definitely held back. But is Benimaru or Diablo stronger??

I guess that Diablo might be but I am not sure about Benimaru. I feel like he may be much weaker. I know that she has the advantage against monsters but is it that big for Benimaru??
