Just to be clear I have the default length of the first gear in racing transmission. The thing is, while he can be tricky, sometimes I manage to put out those superb launches where the car just skyrockets forward leaving everyone behind. But I can't however, trigger it intentionally. Does anyone know the trick?
I have ADHD and it took me a real effort to get my driver's license. Fortunately I managed to get pretty good considering I barely touch a car overall both before and after it. But despite having improved a lot I still catch myself wondering which gear I'm in. I obviously know when I'm in first or when I'm in second after first, but third beyond it's just a void. Any tips?
Despite being a very technical game I love how the beginner events have this to say: Discover the joy of racing. Or how the lightweight cup reads: different but interesting to drive.

I'm trying to get 200 points in Seoul, Clubman Cup, using my 89 mx5. I'm using soft tyres, nitrous, flywheel, turbo 1, racing ship etc, but regardless of all this my car still falls behind too much. I'm wondering if the weight reduction upgrades I have installed are taking point off me that I could be using for slightly more power.
I'm in love with the whole sort of monopoly aesthetic of the career mode and thinking if we could find some of those things to sell.
I was trying to learn proper etiquette (it's my first Gran Turismo) even if it's against CPU but there was I being a gentlemen when the CPU cars just slam me out of the road.
Playing for the first time and enjoying it a lot. It doesn't scratch the same itch that black box NFS games, but it does give huge NFS2 SE vibes (my first racing game) despite the gameplay being way more similar to Gran Turismo in my opinion.
Anyway, I'm playing with both assists off, racing line only for breaking and manual transmission, but I can't, for the love of me put the bots on hard. They're supposed to be this hard? I play on the controller tho.
