I know this has probably been asked a million times…

…but here I go, anyway.

So I have a very dear friend— one of my best— and she’s had a rough go of life. I won’t go into details, but she is now extremely underweight (not by her own volition; she is actively trying her best).

She’s an otherwise healthy woman (aged 40), who is very athletic, has a physically demanding job (she’s an LMT in the state of California), and she has two young children that run around with her a LOT.

She eats healthily; we live together and her diet is pretty basic but generally whole foods. She eats a lot of fish and rice especially, but she’ll eat pretty much anything.

I digress.

Anyway, what is a decent, HEALTHY way for her to gain weight? Working out isn’t the issue; she loves being active. But does anybody have any advice on how to help her just put on the weight she really needs.

INFO: she’s like 5’1, and weighed in at 98lb. this morning.

I’m not a professional, but I’m new here and I was hoping maybe someone in the internet ether would have some good advice on helping her get back her “winter coat”, as she so casually puts it. 🤷🏾😂👍🏽

Please, mods, don’t ban this. I’m not asking for life-changing stuff, just maybe some little tips some people who have been in the same spot that may be helpful.

This event has me questioning my weather man.

I’ve been rocking this style awhile…

…and didn’t realize how much of this little guy I mirrored until I made him my buddy to get the walking with him to evolve. Sorry not sorry. 😅
