What color should I choose?

Hey all!

Have a Schecter SVSS in Lambo Orange and trying to figure out what color pickups I should pick for its overhaul.

I’m thinking of switching out all the hardware for silver/nickel including a new Floyd/floating bridge. With that, I really want to experiment with wacky colors and Dimarzio seems to be the most affordable will still offering legit sonic range.

I think the Lambo Orange is a tough color where chrome/brushed nickel humbuckers, straight white bobbins or the classic zebra bobbins just work well. It isn’t the Sea foam color where doing something like blue and purple bobbins or even pink bobbins might be rad and purposely different.

What y’all think for opinions?

Crab Preamp setup ideas for straight line in to studio headphones???

I’m trying to avoid the digital laptop phase of guitar equipment. I’m more of a line in line out guy without even a chorus or a wah.

Trying to get back into good gear, as a kid I spoiled myself by stumbling onto one of the holy grail tones.

A mesa boogie studio preamp
A mosvalve power amp
112 mesa boogie shadow speaker cabinet
A full mahogany LTD Les Paul copy with a maple top
The Duncan 59 slash set

Trying to do the same but I live in apartment/studio setups and want to use studio headphones.

I’d like to use the Crab Kalypso with an Engl cab loader simulator and use some sort of power source for decent entry level studio headphones.

I hear the Crab Preamps have enough power that the Engl cab loader won’t be able to process all its gain stages without being to harsh and may need its own power source (which is defeating the purpose) but that also I’d need a power source anyway to fuel the studio headphones for any chance of decent sound.

Any suggestions?

Venmo account robbed

I was stuck in a corrections facility for over 70 days for a violation I didn’t really commit. My first attorney was trash and I had to wait for the slow process of new counsel before I was able to be freed and have all charges dropped. It really sucked and I lost a lot, living, job, car and girlfriend.

I checked my Venmo account after unlocking my phone and close to $1000 was robbed from me. $970 to be exact. Someone had gotten a hold of my card information and transferred as much as possible to their cashapp. I can see their first name and most of their last.

I have no idea what to do nor how to present myself to Venmo because it isn’t a real bank and when I file a claim I’m deathly afraid they will deny it as “fraud”. I can generate paperwork that I was being held and haven’t filed a police report yet. If this was a real bank I’d be confident but I know online banks like this typically overlook these types of theft
