How do I stop getting angry when learning things I’m not good at

A few weeks ago my friend gave me his bass guitar because I’d expressed interest in learning and it’s something I picked up fairly quickly, at least the basics. Now I’m trying to learn slap bass but for some reason I cannot do it at all and it is making me insanely frustrated and angry. This isn’t the first time either, any skill I try to learn that I don’t pick up instantly I’ll try to stick with and grit though but I always end up raging.

I’m usually a very chill person, in arguments I always stay calm, during stressful situations I stay calm. I don’t have any anger issues other than scenarios like this one.

I was just born lucky that I easily pick up new skills and am a quick learner but on the few things I get stuck on, I just can’t mentally handle.

How can I fix this and not get angry when I fail.

Also quick note, I am not afraid of failure, I know it’s inevitable even in things I’m good at, but I don’t get angry then, so why this????

Also any tips regarding slap bass would be appreciated
