Hey y’all! I recently got hired on as an outside hire for the service manager position. I have no idea what to expect. If y’all have some insight I’d love to hear it.

As a manager with a soul, I have prided my entire career on never leaving my partners behind. Today I had a phone call and basically got told that “we don’t have room for you” after trying to transfer for a YEAR!!! My interview was never good enough, my DM needed me so he didn’t have a vacant coffeehouse leader the list of favors and pleas go on and on as I devoted myself to this company. To basically be told that I need to either quit and move or just quit all together. So now I’m coming up with a game plan. Do we get paid out for personal days that went unused? I only have one so it’s not a big deal but still if I can I want too. Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful.

Hello! I’m getting my dress altered at David’s bridal. I’m adding a loop so I can hold my dress while I’m doing my first dance, getting it a little bit shorter and possibly adding something to the bust in order to make it more sturdy. If anyone has an idea of what that would look like budget wise or has any experience with David’s bridal alterations that’d be super helpful!
