London police seize $10 million in supercars in one weekend as they fight antisocial driving

It would be great if the Broomfield Police would follow suit with the “antisocial” drivers (I love the Brits’ manners) around Broomfield Commons at night. Supercars or not.

Accounting or Bookkeeper types using Toast Data...

Later this month, we are beginning the onboarding process with Toast. We are a Brewpub with 30% of sales in food, and 14% of sales in non-beer alcohol.

I'm very interested in knowing what parts of the Toast system could have/should have been set up differently from an accounting perspective. As an example, our current POS has very good data on discounts and coupons, but not directly reported against each type of sale category. So, without exporting and compiling data manually or with AI, we don't know what portion of discounts have been for beer, alcohol, or food. Simply having custom data exports would solve most of our needs to report accurately in our financials.

Secondarily, the same question is asked specifically for QuickBooks Online. What automations or import tools have you used for Toast data to close your monthly books more efficiently? I am a brewpub owner and very accounting-focused, so bring it.

Third, I despise QBO with a passion (see my posts over there) and will likely migrate to something better late this year or next, once Toast is up and running. What accounting systems are you all using that seem to work well with Toast's abilities to integrate or receive Toast's exported data?

How to initiate a class-action lawsuit?

I generally detest these suits, but I believe one is ripe for the picking for QuickBooks users. I am in Colorado, but users are worldwide. How would one guy initiate a process like this?

Can someone explain it like I'm 5? Windows --> MacOS behaviors

I am not complaining! I'm quite sure I just need to have it explained in a way I can grasp and can adapt for my work style. I've been on a windows machine (laptop) for decades. I just switched to a new MacBook Laptop. For the life of me I can't get the various windows (2 external monitor plus laptop display) to behave in a way I'm used to. I bounce between various apps and Chrome tabs to do my work, while ALWAYS wanting Outlook displayed on my smaller screen. The "full screen" mode seems to be the issue, but when I'm working on something, I want the full screen available, especially with Excel sheets. I am finding I have to gesture up or side ways on the touch pad to shrink everything and pick the next thing to use. I simply want to click on a tray icon when I change, and leave everything else as is on the monitors. Even moving apps to other montiors requires a ctrl/cmd/f to get out of full screen to be able move them. In Windows, I can always just grab the top bar and move it at will.
