How are you documenting workflows that happen outside the browser?

I've been trying to improve the way our team documents internal processes but I'm realizing most documentation tools assume all of your work happens in a browser.  For us that's nowhere near reality. A single workflow might start in Outlook, move into Excel, then into our ERP software, jump to Teams for approvals, and finish in another Windows application. Every time I need to document one of these processes, I'm constantly stopping to take screenshots, adding arrows, writing explanations, and hoping I didn't miss a step.

The frustrating part is that whenever one of those applications gets updated, I have to go back and redo a huge portion of the guide. At that point people stop trusting the documentation because they don't know if it's current or not. How is everyone documenting workflows that span multiple desktop applications?

Where is the best place to rent tech setups for a silent auction gala?

Hey everyone, we’re putting together our annual fundraising gala next month and need around 15 to 20 kiosks for a silent auction. Since it’s a once a year thing, renting makes way more sense than buying equipment.
Has anyone worked with a provider that’s easy to coordinate with and actually helps you through the setup process without things getting messy on event day?
