Hey people, what would you guys say is the most important thing to do or focus on when trying to improve on genji? Specifically in gold rank. Is it developing fight IQ? Or mechanical practice? Or just playing more games and getting experience?

I've never played a final fantasy game but after watching some key scenes/plot points on youtube (aerith death) and a little bit more bingewatching i think id be interested in consuming the franchise in some way or form.
What i mean in the title is, would you all say the gameplay is fun and innovative enough to be worth playing, or if i already know a couple major spoilers, am i better off watching the full game movies on youtube?

Idk if its cuz i have speedrun mode or steam workshop mods enabled, but ever since i reinstallled the game when i try to teleport to one portal, it always teleports me to a different one than what i selected. anyone know the solution? 🙏 🙏
