Amateur Conlang for Incredibly Specific Alternate Future Timeline

Basically, long story short, within the next decade some guy like places a force feild type thing around the americas, bc the world is bombing eachother, and the spell protects the continent(s), but messes up a lot of stuff too. Like weird powers start to develop in humans over the generations, and animals get increasingly distorted, buildings disapear along with electricity, etc. (side note i love After Man by Dougal Dixon and have added many of his animals to this scenario bc dougal dixon is tea so just know im not taking credit for his stuff). The Wowowy are ppl mainly from the Northern Ohio region who migrated north to the Erie coast due to the swamps their homes returned to. The Wowowy language is an evolved version of Midwest American English, and some German influence from the German speaking nomadic goblin empires but that is a whole different can of worms lol.
