TKTWO JAGDPANTHER REVIEW THE HELLFEST STYLE ! IT'S RAINING SHELLS ! ALLÉLUIA !

Now it comes to my fourth set from TKTWO, and considering we almost have no many options regarding a JAGDPANTHER brick tank.

Most known is COBI'S one but as a limited edition and a regular one, which are almost today impossible to find, released in 2023, years during which COBI became really interesting (look at first COBI MODELS makes an understanding of a brand's birth just right before Soviet's Union fall, and how hard it become after, even for POLLAND as a satellite).

TKTWO was the choice, and the right one, with an historical tank who suffered from overheating. And for a weight of 0.781kg.

Let us go for the cons first :

- Junction between casemate and hull could be less viewable. It's rear hatch opens for nothing behind.

- Asymetry of the gun barrel could have been less pronounced, but anyway it's here. Machine gun is static.

- Tracks on mine are rolling only on drive sprocket and tension wheel. Roadwheels does not seem to move ( not the case with PANTHER, so I put that on suspension design). They can get outta tracks easily.

- Camo has to be tweaked to look less escaladated. Well I did it.

And now for the Pros :

- Easy, Fun, Straight Forward, good use of custom parts, well balanced with bricks. Savage as a JAGDPANTHER.

- A pleasure to build simple sturdy, solid, Nice silouhette and proportions. It flows and flows, a perfect roaring cat !

- Easy panels removable to access a very shiny and beautiful detailled interior.

- Mantlet has a ball joint so it can move on all axis ! Kudos to TKTWO for this +(why not on JAGDTIGER ?). And Nice bricked custom parts.

And an exquisite design. Hatches that open are great.

- Tank is very solid and nothing feels clunky, good for display and good for play and being manipulated.

- A brick JAGDPANTHER that looks like a real JAGDPANTHER. And with a Nice illustration.

Well TKTWO succeded in capturing the essence of this cat, and making it a great enjoyable build. I had a great pleasure during assembly with its simplicity and efficiency.

A direct shell in My head.

Now I remember why : my first tank was an unpainted JAGDPANTHER from the brand TAMIYA all grey given by this elder bro'o' your friend.

I had no money at the time to buy such models, nor my parents.

So cool memories.

As I cannot recommend it anymore, I am making a cool diorama.

This Is The JAGDPANTHER To go.

Regards.

TKTWO JAGDTIGER AUSF B REVIEW

For 1,106 kg of bricks, a bit lighter than their KÖNIGSTIGER.

When I have received it at the same time with the TKTWO JAGDPANTHER, I was hesitant to choose wich I would build first.

I went for the JAGDTIGER.

We have a three tone camo with a lot of green and brown very well balanced. I have not tweaked so much.

This model is considered representing the OTTO CARIUS' one, leading the 2nd Company of schwere Panzerjäger-Abteilung 512 in early 1945. Built was easy thought less impresive than the Königstiger.

I didn't encounter any difficulty, it just left me less astonished.

Mounting the inside of the gun barrel annoyed me a bit, there is a way to set it in and also to put it out as it should.

Let's go for the negative points :

- Tracks are not wide enough, and no specific spare tracks to attach on the casemate (I put some with Patafix).

- Front glacis angle is Not inclined enough, and no antennas as it should have as a command tank.

- Gun barrel junction to mantlet is fragile, and the whole removing for accessing to the interior is a bit tedious. It only moves up and down, unlike Cobi.

- Rear engine bay upper hull is attached to the tow cable, so I do not like to remove it to admire the engine compartment.

- If you are picky casemate angles are a litle to pronounced, consequences of the triangular brick system of its building. And mudguards' hinges are a bit meh.

Now for the pros :

- A very sturdy and solid model.

- Good rolling tracks and lot of spare bricks and no missing pièces.

- Price is still attractive, but a bit higher than 12 GO and if bought from Aliexpress only 30 bucks cheaper than Cobi's standard edition.

- Lotta custom bricks and parts molded if you like this option (beautiful custom mantlet and hatches).

- No strange hull spaces as on the 12 GO one, and a Nice gun barrel support.

- lotta precision in small details, and colored wheels. A nice brand new detailled shiny interior, and a totally articulated anti-air machine gun.

In the end we have almost a model kit, but not without some litle flaws.

As I am Whiting this I have built my third JAGDTIGER with the Cobi regular edition, and TKTWO was my second one (fetish is a fetish), so now I have more of a step looking back at all those.

It will depend on what you want,

" All the things you wanted to be and then all the things you wished you never wished for. It was a delicious itch you want to scratch but you find it under the skin and can't reach it.So the delicious itch becomes unbearable. It told you what you most want is what you most can't have and that the most you can't have is what you already had and lost. "

And this quote from Odysseus resume all my feelings between TKTWO approach and COBI.

COBI will Be more in scale with real one in terms of global shape and angles and drive sprocket, road wheels alignment, side skirts, scale with their minifigs, and on the TKTWO side a more detailled one on specific parts as mantlet, vents, driver's and radio's hatches, and tank commander's one.

2026 is a very good year for brick tanks enthusiasts, COBI really improved their design, and young brand as TKTWO are also a real player.

Well why not love them both ? I volountary exclude 12 cause I am indeed not a fan on their take on this one. You cannot get all from both worlds.

COBI JAGDTIGER LE DIORAMA

I'am weak, wanna try another Odyssey, or Jagdtiger trial. After my not so good LE edition experience you Can check my previous review here : https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1PjjRfBGDr/

It grew on me and I decided to make its own diorama story : retreating and lurking in a garden's house to make repairs. I wanted to make the LE Edition a standout display. Even if Cobi's approach is different from TKTWO, (just finished their Jagdtiger wich is very good) or 12GO (which I dis not like their Kingtiger, so I will pass for their Jagd'one). Cobi still has it and its own charm. So I bought Regular Edition of Cobi's Jagdtiger. My new trial, my new Odyssey. And before I wanted to share my display with ya'.

Regards.

12 KING TIGER REVIEW : The kitten who wants to be a King.

For 883g the kitten who wants to be a Tiger.

Before Yesterday was the Longest Day, as I am making this review. D Day anniversary, I made my photoshoot of the 12GO KING TIGER for my review while watching the Longest Day movie on the 06/06/2026. Ahh as a french, Sainte Mère l'église, I have been there as Omaha and Utah and Pointe du Hoc.

I have done it just after the TKTWO one. Difficult to come back after a great adrenaline and happiness build rush with TKTWO. 12GO's Brick quality is almost the same when you touch as COBI. TKT2 Bricks feel more solid more plain. 12 GO TIGER 2 is very similar to the COBI STYLE and feeling. This one stands very well next to COBI JAGDTIGER LE. It's kind of same style, even with molded parts. It's funny cause all those bricks smell kinda like flower perfume.

After TKTWO KÖNIGSTIGER, 12GO felt like more of a lil' kitten trying to roar, hey I am a Tiger 2 also !

I Strongly advice to have decals to custom it. 1/35 ones suit well. I did not use the balkenkreuz stickers.

I have used my decals, but screwed ones while I was making number 212. I ended up with a maybe fictionnal big number 002.

Bought the model from my best store I have found on Aliexpress (no problems for missing parts and a real man answering you).

Let's go first for the Cons :

- Instructions manual is very Dark, not easy with brown and green.

- Too many hinges and litle pieces to make the Camo more dynamic, seems like 12 GO are telling themselve we can do better than COBI so let the build become more technical and complicated (hinges work better on a blocky design aka 12 GO WITTMANN'S Winter TIGER Camo, and hereh there are lot of them).

- It feels a bit clunky.

- Front glacis is attached on the upper hull but not on the lower, I have sort it using two rounded pieces to keep it locked.

- No towing hooks and front mudguards are not really stable (customized that part).

- Rear armored plate is strange..but okay.

-Sprue marks as some COBI pieces but worst, injection molding points on custom panels (turret, mudguards).

-Glue needed on wonky parts of front glacis, turret panels side and their four litle anchoring points.

-Too many pieces for side skirts.

-Changed episcopes.

-Some bricky gaps and junctions.

-Turret's rear and its size is a bit too small (trick to have spare tracks fitting, better on Quaguan and TKTWO). Adjust towing cables directly on the tank.

-Gun barrel moving is limited

Due to its conception inside.

Now for the pros :

- lot of spare parts, I have used them to tweak camo and having more green on side skirts, rear upper hull and the turret, and less dunkelgelb.

-Tweaks to add more tracks’spare links on the turret (and one More on the rear turret part after my photo shoot). Added a tow cable on glacis also.

-Tracks roll perfect on smooth surface (work better if you take off one link).

-Nice colors and camo pattern and suspension.

- Rounded slot for turret, three Removable panels to acces interior.

-Nice radio and driver's hatches (thought too close to the manlet).

-Turret's upper machine gun rotates good on its rail (Quaguan concept but better).

-Exquisite minifigures (fit very well).

-PRICE/PLEASURE RATIO.

  • Global silouhette satisfying.

  • Can pretend to be a Königs with little tweaks.

Not as impresive as the TKTWO KÖNIGSTIGER, not having the presence of the Quanguan (PORSCHE turret snow camo even far from perfect), this litle kitten will grow on you if you accept its' little flaws. For the price 12GO is taking a very nice direction and add to my collection. After it will more of your personnal choice, it is a good to go. TKTWO if you hear me make a KÖNIGSTIGER with winter camo and printed parts and a "Porsche" turret.

See ya soon, and thanks for the read.

TKTWO KÖNIGSTIGER REVIEW

Hello all, my time to review TK2 TIGER2 KÖNIGSTIGER, and this Is heavy Doc ! We have an historical vehicule : Panzer VI Ausf.B of the Schwere Panzer Abteilung 505, fall 1944. And an original Camo, it changes from three tone wich I find a bit annoying sometimes particularly within 12GO (their 3 tones pattern is a bit repetitive, they should change dominant color a litle more green for exemple).

I will begin with the negative points :

- One piece as been inverted, I had two left front mudguards (seller going to send me a replacement).

- It's a bit huge but not that schocking comparing with Quanguan Tiger 2 Snow Camo (Still loving her a lot cause Winter Camo) and Cobi JAGDTIGER LE.

Now let us go for the goods and there are a lotta and a whole lotta love :

- No Box for me but a nice litho of the King painted and a bit damaged. Instructions are easier cause as my second TKTWO set, I'm getting used to them (use a good lamp and you good to go).

-1. 15 kg beast (Quanguan is 0.87 kg and COBI JAGDTIGER is only 0.82 kg).

- Nice original camo and pattern,(pad printed parts) lot of bricks, lot of baby steps in the manual and very easy to build. Not a single problem encountered. Even the high number of pieces.

- Zimmerit and good custom molded parts. The build is solid and sturdy to manipulate (Inovation, Lego, Cobi did it and now they are stuck with prices skyrocketting so why others could not ?).

- Tracks even a bit narrow works flawlessly even on smooth surface, and the moving suspension is really nice. Wish I had more spare links (thanks PANTHER).

- Beware of the way you put roadwheels, same on the Panther, which I have corrected while assembling the King (BOTH ROLL PERFECTLY) .

- Silouhette is almost a model kit, God I love those side skirts, the detailled interior, shining golden rounds to be fired, nice red and white colours. Transmission, seats and engine (thought it's white ?).

- Price is really good, found a good store on AliE.

-Nice cardboard boxes to sort of and organise bags of bricks. Lot of left spare parts. Very good hatches open flawlessly.

-That's a beast, a must buy for all Königstiger fan. I love COBI, 12GO, but damn that one, it is so gorgeous, generous. A SHAME that TKTWO is still a bit obscure (website ? Social medias ?).

- We have here a solid and robust kitten here, Best Tiger 2 ! TKTWO set the level very very high.

- I wonder how COBI'S new one wiill be and at what price (One COBI LE is worth almost one TKTWO + one 12GO).TKTWO is improving the game on each release. Maybe they can do a better winter camo " à la " "Wittmann's Snow tiger from 12GO".

- For EU customers on Aliexpress check details and the line CE : Certificat. Less chance that customs steal yours (happened on one of my orders).

Had a Nice day this Is a must !

COBI JAGDTIGER LE

I have just finished to assemble the Jagdtiger LE from COBI, and I will begin my humble review here.

I will begin with the negative points : - First the Front glacis and the rear of the tank were a pain to connect (structuraly not sturdy enough and falling appart to many times for my taste).

- Lower Hull was boring and erratic to mount, and I had also few missing and inverted parts, I had to tweak (Made a claim to Cobi to have replacements).

- Idler wheel do not align well, kept tracks falling and as not having spacers I had to glue them. (Rushed Porsche suspension ?).

- Driver's and Radio's hatches are meh (hello TKTWO and even 12GO).

- The price... Okay it is Limited Edition.. But well could we have had updates and full interior ?

Let us go now for the good :

- LE with the authentic certificate. Also black plate with LE number.

- Upper structure and casemate was a pleasure to assemble. Removable pannels are good and we have a Nice engine compartment. Casemate interior is Ok.

-Canon moves on all axis (no pun intended).

-Camo is Nice as also the pattern on side skirts. I love also the design and how side skirts are made. (Still new in the hobby). Nice tow cables.

- Porsche suspension.

- Camo foliage, mini diorama, accessories, and five minifigures. I will use them because they do not look so goofy. I love the tank commander.

Beside its flaws I'm happy with this model. I have added decals wich hold well. Also when fixed tracks work really good. And a plus for the letterbox. In the end I'm loving it. (Hey Cobi what about Zimmerit and making à 360° machine gun ?). Have a Nice day.

But I'am loving it !
