Need guidance on TTD donor privileges for ₹1 lakh donation

🙏Om Namo Venkatesaya 🙏

We have been planning to visit Tirumala for many months, but unfortunately we were unable to book ₹300 Special Entry Darshan tickets despite trying regularly. It’s becoming quite late for my kids’ mundan (tonsure), so we are now considering becoming a donor instead of booking ₹10,000 Srivani VIP Break Darshan tickets every time.

We are thinking about donating ₹1 lakh, but before proceeding I had a few questions regarding donor privileges. It would be really helpful if experienced donors or anyone familiar with the process could guide us.

  1. After becoming a donor, when can we start booking donor privilege tickets? Can we book for the very next month?
  2. Can I make my kid as main donor instead of me?
  3. Can I claim income tax benefit on the donation amount, if I make my kid as main donor?
  4. What is the process for becoming a donor? Can it be done online or do we need to visit in person? We are from Hyderabad. (The process is not clear on the website: https://tirupatibalaji.ap.gov.in/#/edonation )

Would really appreciate any guidance or personal experiences. Thanks in advance 🙏

I recently closed my home loan with LICHFL on 22-April. They told me I can collect my original property documents on 28-May.

I asked them about the RBI rule that documents should be returned within 30 days after foreclosure. But the staff member said its 30 working days and when holidays are included the date they gave is correct.

This didn’t sound right to me. From what I’ve read online, it should be 30 calendar days, not “working days” or adjusted for holidays.

My new bank might charge me a 0.1% penalty on the home loan amount, if I do not submit property documents with in 30 days.

Has anyone else faced something similar with LICHFL or any other lender? Did you get your documents on time?

Also, what can I do to make sure I get my documents sooner?
