Building a puzzle: Is there a better technology than NFC tags for digitally checking a physical item's location?

I am designing a game in which users will need to rearrange physical items in slots on a tray. If they get the items in the right order, they pass the level and gain a point. I'm trying to figure out how to build the puzzle so that users can manipulate physical objects, but the result would be checked digitally and the points awarded on their phone. I was hoping to put something on the bottoms of the items and the tops of each of the slots, perhaps NFC tags, but my fiancé isn't sure that they will work. Is there a better way of digitally tracking an item's physical placement?

Thanks in advance!

Is it possible to pull multiple YouTube channels into another as playlists?

Over the years, I have had multiple YouTube channels. I made each one targeted to a specific theme, which I thought would make them easier to find. The problem is that every time I started doing a new project, I would start over again with 0 followers.

I'd like to build one overarching channel and bring the previous projects in as playlists, and then just create new playlists in the same channel going forward for new projects. Ideally, I'd like to be able to bring the followers for each account over, too. I know you can move a YouTube channel from one channel to another and bring over the followers, but that seems to overwrite the channel you are bringing the new content into, and it seems to only be able to combine a maximum of two channels.

Does anyone know of a way I can essentially combine multiple channels into one larger one without losing all my old videos and followers? Thank you in advance!

Where can I buy metal stands like this that are strong enough to hold glass?

Hi,

I'm looking for new ways to display my pieces, and lately, I've been seeing several artists use metal stands like this:

Example 1

Example 2

Example 3

Does anyone know where I can buy a stand like these? I've seen some stands on Amazon, but I don't know if the rod would be strong enough to hold the glass, or if the base would be heavy enough to keep the piece from falling over. I know some people use wooden bases and rods from Lowe's/Home Depot, but my experiences with woodworking haven't been great and I'd love to avoid it if possible.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

Hi! I have a piece that I made a few years ago, which is already soldered and patina'ed. I've recently taken a class on glass painting and I think I would like to add paint to the finished piece; however, the paint that we used (and all the "high quality" glass paints I've seen online) are kiln-fired. Can I put a soldered piece in a kiln? I'm guessing no, so in that case, does anyone have any recommendations for good glass paints that don't need to be fired? Are there any brands that make paint that's nicer than the gloppy, streaky craft paint you can get at Michael's (or is there a technique to make those paints look nicer/smoother)?

Any recommendations would be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance!
