Engaged on 3 year anniversary!

Been meaning to post this for a few months. I love this subreddit and looking at everyone's rings/advice.

My fiancé and I picked out the setting together, he picked the diamond. I love it so much!

We picked the setting out 6 months before he proposed! I was getting ANTSY! Lol. He proposed in an apple orchard on our 3 year anniversary. It was perfect!

We had a great experience with Frank Darling. This is the 18k rose gold Breezy Baguettes with 2 carat oval diamond.

The ring is spectacular, but getting to marry my best friend and soulmate is the highlight of my life so far. Every night feels like a slumber party and every day with him is a dream. Never settle ladies!

Advice on spirolactone and metformin dosage

TL;DR recently diagnosed with PCOS wondering if prescribed doses are too high to start with. The doctor is starting me at 200mg spirolactone and 2000 mg metformin.

Hi all! I (33F) have been battling PCOS symptoms since puberty. Excessive body hair, chin hair, acne on chin, irregular periods, etc. I also have painful periods and heavy bleeding but I recently found out I have urterine fibroids as well.

I recently finally received a PCOS diagnosis from my doctor after running labs. The only elevated lab are my DHEAS at 400.

My symptoms have gotten worse in the past 3 years, I'm sure due to stress.

I've lost 30 lbs, am no longer pre-diabetic after adjusting my diet but I'm losing hair on my temples and having increased hair and acne on my chin.

I'm getting married in 2027 and we want to have children soon after.

Anyway. The doctor is starting me at 200mg spirolactone and 2000 mg metformin.

My concern is I think these doses are too high for starting, but I wanted some opinions.

I was thinking of starting at 50 mg spirolactone and seeing how that does for 6 months before increasing? Same with metformin was thinking of starting much lower and then slowly ramping up.
