Unexplained creepy experience in college campus

There is an abandoned overgrown building on campus that I am sure you have all seen, just behind Lt. Williams. Anyone who has laid eyes on it can tell at first glance something is off. But so far I haven’t found anyone who can explain what that is. I will now attempt to do precisely that

To start off, if you have roamed around campus you must have seen a lot of cats and a lot of dogs, but there is this one cat which stands out exceptionally from the rest. So along the Neem lake(i found out its called Neem lake from google maps) there is this road which has all the PG hostels on one side and it ends at the Downing Hall(big red old building) near the 3rd gate. About a month and a half ago while walking along that road during a daily campus stroll I came across this cat which was just sitting at the turning where the road starts, and it eerily looked as if it was waiting for something and someone. Very uncharacteristic of cats, I would say. Yet, it was nothing so unnatural that it would stand out so I ignored it and started walking along aforementioned road. Now as soon as I stepped onto the road, I saw the cat get up and start walking. Now what happened next was slightly unnerving due to the fact that the cat seemed to be shadowing me exactly along the width of the road, as if it was trying to hide behind me or something. And when i turned around and stopped to look at it, it stopped too and made eye contact with me! it did not move till i moved and this was definitely not something i expected or still expect a stray feline to do. I even took some pictures of the cat which are attached below. I kept walking and took a turn at a corner along Downing Hall where there is a small open field. I saw 4-5 dogs relaxing there, all of them were just lying down and not bothering anyone or anything.

Now if you ever noticed then you’d see intraspecies fights are common among stray animals inside the campus, such as dogs fighting other dogs or cats fighting other cats. dogs are highly territorial after all. but nearly no dog and cats ever fight each other, mostly because the dogs dont consider cats to be a threat or an intrusion on their territory.

However, the cat had followed me to that location and as soon as they saw it, all of the dogs stood up in unison, their ears pricking up, and for a whole 4 seconds they just froze while looking at the cat. then ALL of them just started raising hell and barking like crazy at the cat and they all SPRINTED towards it aggressively barking. I was admittedly a bit scared of the dogs but they seemed to ignore me totally and went after the cat, but the cat just ran back to the path it started following me from, and the dogs surprisingly did not chase the cat further than that corner along downing hall. This surprised me for as i have mentioned before, i have never seen dogs fight cats in campus. and the way they all were just relaxing, and the dogs appeared to be petrified upon seeing the cat for a whole 5 seconds before madly chasing it away was indeed somewhat chilling.

Now i decided (somewhat unwisely now that im reflecting back on it) to catch up to the cat on that road along Neem lake where i first came across it, and I soon found it walking along the road, totally unphased by my presence following it. Normally the sound of footsteps are enough to send cats frantically sprinting across the road, but not this one. After following it long enough, I found that it rests inside the abandoned building behind Lt. Williams which from now on I will refer to as Building C for convenience.(picture of building C attached). I decided to call it a day and walked away from there.

Now a few days back I went to college during the session break because of some official work involving fees payment and scholarships and all along with a few of my friends who had some work too. We had decided to get all our work done on the same day and then roam the campus for a bit. Now we all returned to the same spot near building C and unwisely, we decided to go inside because we were probably seeking some adventure. At great risk to our clothes we found our way inside via a small clearing in the overgrowth, and I saw a box like structure made of bricks with about 5 dead pigeons on it. The walls had small but eerie drawings of stick figures with what seemed like decapitated heads made with what looked either like dried blood or old brown paint. They were really small and drawn on like about a (30cm x 30cm) square on the wall? Slightly scared but determined to get a good look, I moved forward a little bit and immediately ran out of there after seeing a corpse of what was supposed to be a dog. However the corpse looked fresh, as if the dog was just sleeping. there were no cuts, no signs of decomposition, no parts missing or anything. it was just obviously dead, because it was lying still and not breathing with its eyes wide open in a rather uncomfortable posture. We were so freaked out we ran out of the building and did not wait to get any pictures and just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. as soon as we left the abandoned structure, I saw Cat sitting there next to the building calmly and just staring at us, as if it was waiting for us to vacate its personal residence.
