Now I have my new 240D since around two weeks and slowly I‘m realizing the quirks of that car.
Can anyone tell me what line this is below the clutch pedal? On top there seems to be a yellowish liquid dripping from the clutch pedal. I‘m not sure what it is as it is completely odorless but quite oily. Could this be brake fluid?
Since the weather became very hot here in Germany, I’ve noticed an issue with the brakes on my 240D.
After driving for about 15 minutes, the brake pedal suddenly has to be pressed almost all the way to the floor before the brakes start to engage.
If I leave the car parked for a while and then drive again, the problem doesn’t occur immediately—it only comes back after some time.
If I pump the brake pedal a few times, it becomes firm again. Usually, the braking force is actually very good, but it only comes in during the last few millimeters of pedal travel, just before the pedal reaches the stop.
I haven’t noticed any loss of brake fluid, and the entire brake system was rebuilt/replaced about two years ago.
What could be causing this?

Actually not tooooo special as Tunisia is just a ferry-ride away.
When visiting the tourist office to get your stamp, make sure you have at least half a blank page.
Also your passport has to be valid, don‘t think about bringing along an old expired passport to get the stamp.
The lady almost refused to give me a stamp on a page where there were stamps already. I really had to convince her to stamp on a page with another stamp on it.
She told me they would require a full blank page, which is an absolute waste of space.
Anyway, in the end I even got a second the next day…
Ich meine sind wir ehrlich? Beleidigung? Eine Straftat? Begründet wird das Ganze mit der Verletzung der Ehre… come on. Leben wir im mittelalterlichen Japan oder in den (wunderschönen) Bergen Nordalbaniens?
Ich werde in meinem Beruf regelmäßig beleidigt. Wenn ich da jedes Mal jemanden für anzeigen würde, würde ich jeden Tag ne dreiviertel Stunde auf einer Polizeidienststelle verbringen.
Sowas sollte man einfach abkönnen und wenn nicht gibt‘s auf lange Sicht halt ne Kurzzeittherapie beim Psychologen des Vertrauens.
Ich habe in meinem Bekanntenkreis eine ganz konkrete Person, die sehr empfindlich darauf reagiert, wenn sie erfährt, dass irgendjemand seinen/seine Partner*in betrügt.
Für sie ist das ein Grund die Freundschaft zu der betrügenden Person sofort zu kündigen und diese als „Arschloch“ abzustempeln.
Mir ist das egal. Freunde von mir haben bereits betrogen, ich weiß davon und es stört mich nicht im geringsten. Ich verstehe auch diese Argumentation nicht „jemand der betrügt, betrügt die auch als Kumpel“. Inwiefern? Was soll er machen? Für gewöhnlich unterhalte ich keine Liebesbeziehung zu meinen Freunden. Sie können mich anlügen, ja. Aber ist das bei einer Person die in einer Beziehung betrogen hat wahrscheinlicher? Glaube ich nicht.
