Roboport Grid Aligned Rail Loader

My attempt at an early game limited loading and unloading station that tiles and fits within the 50x50 grid of roboports in order to plan around them: https://factoriobin.com/post/iowy23

Bi-Directional 3 Single Lane Inputs & 1 Dual Lane Output
Supports 1 Engine - 2 Wagon Trains
Rail Line Switching & 180 Departures

EDIT: Updated to include a diagonal connection from top left to bottom right that was missing, updated signals, and cleaned up the blueprint to contain a full depot cell and work with the snap to grid feature.

BiP overrated? The case for a Motivation Paragon instead.

Now how can something compete with Blood is Power for energy management? Each cast is equal to 24 energy with a +20% enchanting mod in exchange for around 150 health depending on runes and such. It's spamable with enough healing for effectively infinite energy and the rest of the hero's bar is left open to use all that free Soul Reaping energy for whatever else you need. Depending on your team comp this can be a perfect fit, but it isn't the only option.

The humble Motivation Paragon has been waiting in the wings this whole time and it's a much closer choice than you might think at first glance. It doesn't condense a whole team's energy management into a single skill like BiP, but it also doesn't need to dedicate an elite slot for it either. At 14 Motivation Aria of Zeal refunds 6 energy back to all spell casters, which depending on the team comp might be every member of the team (including the Paragon if you get creative). If it lands on at least 4 allies that's worth 1 cast of BiP spread across them every 22 seconds without the health cost, and can also be pre-cast before a fight. That's a decent buffer but nowhere near enough for energy hungry builds like Mesmers.

Enter the real star of the show; Lyric of Zeal. Fueled by "Make Your Time!" and easily able to work with short cooldown signets on the team. Mesmers have Unnatural Signet or Signet of Clumsiness, the Paragon themselves have Signet of Synergy or Glowing Signet, Necromancers have Signet of Lost Souls or Signet of Sorrow, Monks have Boon Signet or Signet of Rejuvenation, and Dervishes have Signet of Pious Light and Signet of Pious Restraint. Each of those Signet casts will refund 8 energy, if that's hitting at least 6 team members that is equal to 2 BiP casts every 11 seconds. Now we're talking.

Energizing Finale is a bit overkill but can be thrown in on top in shout heavy teams as well. Generally with player builds using "Save Yourselves!", "Together as One!", and of course Heroic Refrain setups. If your team is averaging around 5 shouts ending every 10 seconds (including Aria and Lyric of Zeal) that's equal to 3 pips of energy regen for 33 seconds for a total of 33 energy per cast. In that same vein Finale of Restoration becomes a great skill choice too, equal to around 35 HP per second in healing.

Ok so the Paragon has got energy management covered and doesn't tax the healer to do it, but what else can it do? The real answer besides Blazing Finale and somewhat decent healing is: whatever elite you need to round out your team. Condition immunity? "It's Just a Flesh Wound." Hexes? Divert Hexes. Wanna spread burning for "They're on Fire!"? Extend Conditions or Fevered Dreams. Need more shut down and snare but don't want to give up Energy Surge on your Mesmers for Panic or Psychic Instability? Toss your Paragon a 40/40 set and give them Shared Burden.

Now here's the main reason I want to promote this build: think about how a standard Mesmerway team works in an extended fight. All your damage dealers will start to run out of energy around the same time and then your BiP needs to be cast 3-4 times in quick succession, often putting their health dangerously low and risking getting picked off when the enemy AI retargets to them. It makes much more sense to have energy flowing in right from the start and evenly to all your team at once so no one ever runs dry instead of waiting for your turn in the BiP queue.

I hope you'll give it a try if your team is a good fit and notice it's just a little bit more sturdy.
