Finished the third Plaguebearer for my Shadow Legion!
I’m sticking with the purple/magenta skin and toxic green accents across the unit, but I’m trying to give each of these guys a bit of their own character. This one certainly made that easy with those ridiculous horns and the lovely Nurgle-approved mouth in his stomach. 😅

Three down, seven to go. I’m actually having a lot of fun with these as a change of pace after painting five Possessed.
The miniature is from Wargame Exclusive.

Nummer 2 von 10 ist fertig! ^^

Nachdem der erste hier überraschend gut angekommen ist, gibt’s direkt den nächsten Vertreter meiner etwas untypischen Plaguebearer.
Auch diesmal wollte ich bewusst beim blass-violetten Hautton bleiben, damit die Dämonen später optisch zu meinen Night Lords bzw. „Purple Wings“ passen. Das klassische Nurgle-Grün findet sich deshalb nur als Akzent wieder – diesmal durfte es dafür bei Zunge und Bauch etwas stärker eskalieren. 😅
Gerade das zweite Maul am Bauch fand ich bei der Mini ziemlich genial und wollte es entsprechend zum Blickfang machen.
Die 10 Plaguebearer gehören zu meiner Shadow-Legion-Liste und nach fünf Possessed am Stück macht es gerade wirklich Spaß, mal etwas völlig anderes zu bemalen.
Miniatur ist wieder von Wargame Exclusive – die Sculpts gefallen mir persönlich einfach deutlich besser als die klassischen GW-Plaguebearer.

2/10 geschafft – mal sehen, ob ich das Farbschema nach Nummer 10 noch sehen kann. 😂

Second Plaguebearer finished!
I’m painting a unit of 10 for my Shadow Legion and wanted them to visually fit alongside my Night Lords, so instead of the traditional Nurgle greens I went for pale purple skin with toxic green and sickly red accents.
This guy was especially fun because of that wonderfully disgusting second mouth. 😅 I used the tongue and exposed flesh to push the colors a little further while still keeping the overall palette consistent with the first one.

Two down, eight more gifts of Grandfather Nurgle to go!

Halfway there.

The first five Possessed for my custom Night Lords warband, The Purple Wings, are finally complete. I tried to give each one its own distinct mutation while keeping the squad visually cohesive through the same armour scheme and toxic green glow.

Ich dachte, ich werde hier im Subreddit auch mal etwas aktiver und zeige euch eines meiner aktuellen Projekte.
Nach meinen fünf Night Lords Possessed hatte ich Lust auf etwas Abwechslung – und da ich Shadow Legion spiele, gehören auch 10 Plaguebearer zu meiner Armee.
Statt des klassischen Nurgle-Grüns habe ich versucht, sie farblich an meine Night Lords anzupassen: kalte Violett/Lilatöne kombiniert mit giftigem Grün als Akzent.

Mich würde interessieren: Wie gefällt euch der Farbansatz? Würdet ihr bei Nurgle eher klassisch bleiben oder findet ihr alternative Farbschemata genauso spannend?

Finally finished the fifth Possessed for my homebrew Night Lords warband, The Purple Wings.

For this one I wanted to push the trophy rack a bit further and added an impaled victim to make him feel even more like a terror weapon of the VIII Legion. I also kept experimenting with the colder flesh tones while staying consistent with the army’s purple armour, cold steel and toxic green glow.

Finished my fourth Possessed for my Night Lords warband.

I wanted this one to have a colder, paler look compared to some of my previous models, while keeping the purple armor and toxic green glow effects.

Finally finished the blades and spikes on this one.
Tried pushing the cold steel contrast against the pale flesh and corrupted purple armor scheme.

Still exploring my Purple Wings scheme and pushing it a bit further with each model.

Really enjoying the process—even if it slows the army down.

But honestly… that’s part of the fun.
