hey guys, here's my newest art piece i'd like to share (●'◡'●) i really wanted to draw us both full-body, side-by-side in our hero suits and was satisfied with the linework. but then i showed it to my friends and they were like "cool. colours and background when??" so.. this happened ahah

gotta admit i don't remember the last time i made a fully rendered illustration like that (´ｰ∀ｰ`)

i aimed for a glowy sunset scenery and went all out with the lighting after i got some pretty neat advice from u/narasya there. the glow and saturation differs heavily on each monitor and display, but i went with my own monitor as i liked this the most 🪶 hopefully it doesn't look too hideous for others

so, i saw this photo of a hen with her chick inside her feathers (2nd pic) and got inspired! (´▽` ) 💚🧡

was thinking about who would rather be between whose feathers and went with this arrangement. Vakha prefers low temperatures, so being kept warm wouldn't be the most comfortable thing for him haha also more chances to draw happy Keigo 🥹🧡

this was supposed to be more of a meme-ish drawing at first, that's why it looks a bit more "stylized" than my usual style. but somehow i got distracted and rendered the whole thing whoops-

I saw him and nearly screamed?? 😭😭💚 I LOVE THIS MAN!! I mean LOOK AT HIM he's so gorgeous and still has those laid-back, dorky expressions, like, he never changed at all aaaa 🧡🧡🧡🧡

it's us lovebirds again (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)

usually it takes about 2-3 days to finish my art, but this one took way longer. blame it on work, appointments and my bad mental health /sighs well anyways, it's done now!

i put a lot of fluff and love into this, especially avian love language like nuzzling/cuddling, singing, preening and sheltering/cocooning with wings (not common among birds, but my headcanon is that Keigo and Vakha do that often 🧡💚)

something came in the mail that absolutely brightened up my mood.. my latest Hawks merchandise haul 🧡

- blanket and big catto plush (keeping me warm in cold nights and company with the bad thoughts)
- missing birthday badges (now i have all of them, see last pic!)
- acryllic standees (still needing so, so many more)
- plushies (the ice cream cone is sending me-)
- figure (it's bigger than i thought!)
- clear files (can that man not be this gorgeous for 5 minutes?? eugh i love him)

i usually have a hard time with treating myself and spending money. but i regret nothing regarding my birb boyfriend 💚

the coaster it stands on is made by a work colleague who does lots of diamond painting as a hobby. she gifted us one each, they were all different kinds and colours and we could choose. i picked this specific one because.. HOW WOULD I NOT? IT'S MY SHIP'S COLOURS RIGHT THERE aaaaa!! 🧡💚🧡💚

i found this on a twitter post and now i don't want his acryllic standee anymore but THIS lol

he's SO ADORABLE in his sailor suit with that look and holding out that tiny finger shdjdgasf 🥺🥹🧡💚

coming up with a re-draw again ahah i love those because i never see how much i actually improved until i have this kind of direct comparison :D
