I have joined optum recently as senior data engineer in g26 grade with 26lpa fixed but I gave interview for g27 and my grade was downgraded as explained by hiring manager it will impact team dynamics but compensation will be close to g27 as accepted it. I am eligible for appraisal cycle next year as I joined by june end. I was said that i am at the ceiling of my grade and I may or may not be pushed further compensation in same band and for g27 promotion i should serve some tenure for eligibility. So anybody from optum can let me know what likely can expect to happen in this case.
