Best Way to Price Out and Sell Collection?

Hey, sorry if this is always asked. I just joined the sub today, can delete if this is spam for the community.

Wanted to ask what the best way would be to start doing an investment of values for my collection and start selling it off? I have about 350+ dvds and blu-rays from over the years.

Currently unemployed and about to have heart surgery so I figured it might be time to start unloading some things in my house collecting dust.

Can I ask what the best site or apps are to get values? Best places to sell? And any holy grails to look out for?

Thanks so much fir any help - and again apologies if this is repeated too much in the sub.

Old Tires Advice

Hey gang, I have some old 50/50 tires I've been hoarding to have as emergency spares but they just keep collecting dust.

The date stamp is 2020 now (6 years old). I have a Mitas E07+ Enduro and Dunlop Trailmax mission. Both have about 60% tread left...

Due to the age, are these garbage now or is it worth selling for like ~$20 so someone can use them at least?

It would feel wasteful to bring them to the dump, but also wondering what the limit would be for safety of the rubber compounds...

Got Lost at the Costco Parking Lot

I decided to try out a bit MORE off-roading yesterday. I've had my 4Runner (21' ORP Venture) for less than 1 year. It's been my first truck and 4x4 vehicle (although I do ride an Adventure Motorcycle off road alot so the dirt is my friend).

That said, I want to learn more about technical wheeling and we have a place called "Dirt Church" nearby which is the off-road course seen above. This was built and maintained by the 4-Wheel Drive Association of B.C.

Here's the thing: with no skill yet, the truck did ALL the work and ate everything up. It was too easy tbh, which was extremely confidence inspiring. Anything I tried, it did it without a single complaint. Didn't even get to using MTS, Crawl Control, or A-Trac. Just 4-High in lose higher speed and 4-Lo at slow and it would go. Not once did it feel out of place.

Also the fact I can have it fully packed up with a cooler for lunch/snacks, and with other toys in the back to finish the day at the beach and for a paddle at sun set... ugh, I love this truck - now named Argo.

Deactivate Keyless Entry on a '21?

2021 ORP Venture

Possibly a super dumb question, but I'm going paddleboarding tonight and don't have waterproof pockets to store my key fob. Is there a way to keep it in the glove box maybe and hold onto the physical key while on the water? Will that leave my truck basically unlocked if anyone tugs on the handles?

I realized this while camping that anyone could open my doors while I'm sleeping because of the fob...

Don't laugh at me if this is basic knowledge, I'm new to having nice things haha.

The Invite stole #1 spot for 2026 for me (so far).

The Invite just easily became my favorite of the year so far. If it's on your watchlist, please go see it in theaters! It has limited screens but is exactly what we need to support in cinema.

It has all the emotions; from so many genuine laughs to deep moments of empathetic anxiety, and lots in-between. The cinematic angles and usage of space was masterclass by Olivia - what amazing direction overall.

Performances by all 4 (Norton, Cruz, Rogen, Wilde) are exceptional. Each of them has their moments in the spotlight foe acting chops and range tbh.

However, and without spoiling anything, this movie finds a way to hit your soul hard if you can relate to the core elements of the story, and I know many of us do/will.

The entire audience sat in silent reflection for legit half of credits after it ended. Where I live it's pretty unheard of for that kind of reaction as usually everyone bolts for washrooms or to leave at the first sign the movie has ended. But no one moved. There was a few muffled sobs but mostly an eerie internal quiet. 5 stars for me.

Finished Leg Sleeve by Oliva__Tattoo, Vancouver B.C

Finally finished my full leg sleeve yesterday!! It took 13 sessions + one redo of the cat after a major allergic reaction rejected the ink last year.

First off, no I don't have an OF account. Secondly, the design was 100% authentic and created as a vision by myself and then put together by my artist (@Oliva__tattoo at Love More in Vancouver, B.C - "Inna") which was a feat in itself, as I was ambitious with the meanings and plans.

I made some choices that will seem like AI (like random metal feathers on the phoenix or some formatting/blending with the mother nature face into plants/wings) intentionally. But I can confirm no AI was used for this. We followed more of a graphic design process with layers of recreated stock/custom drawings.

The intent: July 2026 will mark the 20 year anniversary since I had a spinal chord injury that left me fully paralyzed (waist down) for a year and in a wheelchair for 2 years. It took 10 years to rebound from that in life. I did this tattoo to commemorate that journey to a full recovery, while decorating the legs as a mural.

Included in the design:

Outside of leg - Mother Nature (blending in and out of natural elements - dark forrest, butterfly wings, and vibrant plants), Music (an eighth note seperates at the knee with my thumbprint), Mowgli (my cat)

Inner leg - an "Imperfect Phoenix" that is still building itself and is riddled with some flaws still. A hatched phoenix egg in hand to represent holding onto the past but honoring where we come from.

Back of leg - an animal for each of my siblings that suits them well (Eagle, Wolf, and Bear Cub). A forrest fire scene to connect mother nature and the fire bird. Some ornamental design filler and flames.

Let me know your thoughts!
