How do I get the flash to show better?

I am learning how to polish and I cut this 6ct Coober pedy opal and in person the flash is very pretty but in pictures I'm having a very difficult time trying to show it, does anyone have any tips? Also polishing tips in general and an estimate on what this stone might be worth would be great! Thank you in advance for your help.

Butterfly pendant

Just wanted to show off this butterfly pendant made, it's a little wonky but I'm still happy with it. The center stone is Australian opal and it has amethyst and phosphosiderite beads. Definitely need more practice with symmetry but I'm having fun with it anyway and enjoying my "unique" pieces of jewelry I'm getting along the way haha. (First picture is angled to show the flash on the opal)

Little opal dragonfly pendant

So I used a chalk Ethiopian opal that I stabilized in an epoxy and acetone mixture, I then cut and polished it. Then I wrapped it in copper wire into this dragonfly shape. I'm pretty proud of how it turned out. And before anyone asks I didn't follow any tutorial so I can't link one but I did go look up a bunch of dragonfly pendant pictures and videos to get the relative idea of how I wanted to shape it. I'm thinking of trying a butterfly next.

I had a little chip of Ethiopian opal that came off a bigger piece that I was polishing and I decided to use it in a micro pendant, then I based my choker design off that. I think it turned out really pretty and was a good use of a tiny chip I couldn't use otherwise 😊 I was having a hard time getting the flash to show in the pictures but it actually has a good amount of blue and green flash. I picked the Labradorite beads because they have a similar flash color. What do y'all think?

I just finished up this snake leg bracelet. It has sunstone for the head and larvikite beads on its body. What do y'all think? Please ignore my chicken skin 😅
