On 2016 silverado, which trans line is the hot inlet and the return outlet

I have a 2016 silverado 5.3. I am adding a mishimoto universal 13 plate cooler in series with the factory condenser cooler. I dont have the radiator cooler. I have the knp rpo code, not nht. Theres a trans line on the driver side, and on on the passenger side. The on the passenger side sits in the middle line on passenger side, the bottom and top lines on that side are oil cooler lines. Which trans lines is the hot side and the return cool line?

Update the 3x trans fluid flush fixed shudder, question about software tune/ update

I posted the other day about which fluid to use in the 17 rdx. I went to a dealer and got oem fluid. Did 3 flushes and the shudder is completely gone. I also scheduled the software update since mine has never been done. For those of you who have got it done, how much better does the car and trans feel in your opinion.

Valvoline Max life ATF vs Honda/ Aisin DW-1 for slight TC shudder

My 2017 Rdx just hit 100k and is starting to have light TC shudder. I I bought it at 96K and the fluid is a little dark so I’m not sure when the last time the fluid was changed. I’m planning to do the three times drain and fill. I have 3 quarts of ace and DW-1 fluid and need to get more. I am debating on getting Valvoline Max life since it does say it’s Honda approved or should I just go to the dealer and get more genuine DW-1. Has anyone had good luck with max life in their honda? I always heard they are picky on trans fluids. Im also going to change the plugs and will go with NGK’s since they are due soon

Do trucool/ mishimoto trans coolers help keep temps lower in summer even with bypass

I have a 2016 Silverado 5.3 6l80. I just got my transmission rebuilt and it’s great and I’ve had the thermal bypass for quite a while. Only thing is in the summertime. My temp still like to creep up on hot days to 165 170. I know this is still within the good range of what the temperature should be, but I would love it if I could keep the temps down into the 150s like it would normally be in the winter time or even lower thinking about getting a true cool 40 K or a Nishimoto trans cooler to add in. I don’t have the towing package but I do have the KNPRPO code so I know I have the factory condenser cooler. I’m gonna run it in series. Will it help keep the temps down below 160 or am I just wasting money?

I hit a snag trying to install these on my 16 z71. The new bilstein shock is about 2” longer than the oem rancho. Its not the wrong part per suspension lifts, thats how they are. Problem is i couldnt get enough downward movement in the control arms to get the shock on the perch. I was hitting a piece of the frame where the upper control bolts in so i got as much travel as i could. I was going to remove the UCA, but the balljoint wouldn’t separate. I did not want to ruin the boot on the balljoint with a fork since its still good and i didnt have a replacement. I did remove the sway bar link which helped.

I saw a video of some guys installing these and they used a bottle jack to compress the new shock a little to get into place. Anyone else try this ?
