The pay is insane (i.e. zero) but it's morally rewarding.

Anyone know the procedure if a tenant loses their right to rent during a tenancy.

We have informed the Home Office, but they knew already anyway.

They have vacated the property, returned keys and gone back to their country of origin (outside Europe if that makes any any difference). The landlord would like to retain their bond in lieu of notice to cover cleaning and the rent outstanding.

Is that legal? I'm struggling to find a clear answer on line.
