So I came up with a series of new powers for Dinosyus demigods whom I think are really underated among the Olympian demigods.

1. Fervortalk: Unlike charmspeak which lowkey makes targets get seduced and obey your commands, Fervortalk kinda makes your target lower their guard and take more risks. In strong versions, it would make the target face the effects of being drunk as well. (Manifestion of Mr.D as Dinosyus Lyaeus)

2. Mycokinesis: Given wine lowkey is prepared from fungi and Dinosyus' link with the concept of decay and rebirth, Dinosyus kids would be able to control fungi and their spores besides vines.

3. Audiokinesis (given he was known as Dinosyus Bromios, albeit unlike Apollo kids the Dinosyus kids would lean more on noise than music in sound control department)

4. Ability to control all non water based beverages (stronger the more alcoholic it is)

5. Limited geokinesis (Dinosyus' role as a fertility god)

So I am kinda creating a son of Demeter for my fanfic universe and basically he like Lityreses would not be the typical nature loving soft kind ty that Demeter kids are stereoyped as usually. Infact the guy is popular at school using his pranks and sometimes blunt sarcasm (cuz he is just ADHD not dyslexic) to make himself popular instead of being an outsider like most main characters. Also he isn't a too keen naturalist.

His fatal flaw is like Thalia aka thirst for power given all his life his father tries to shelter and overprotect him from everything including not letting him take decisions of his own. But the OC like his mother Demeter he subtly values and had a protective spirit for his family.

So I was kinda wondering what would be good first power for him that he subtly manifests from time to time before camp and finding out his demigod lineage. I was thinking maybe mycokinesis: the ability to control fungi and molds or geokineisis.

Edit: Would also like inputs on what first powers to give instead if I turn him into the son of Dinosyus instead while retaining all core parts of his perosnalities?

Do you think it would be feasible for demimonsters to exist in PJO verse just like demigods? The gods and monsters are both immortals. Thr gods already share their essence with mortals (both with and without consent) to create demigods. Given the theme of monster redemption that has come up now years after introducing Tyson as a good cyclops, it does seem feasible that some monsters could fall in love mortals or demigods.

(Asking this for a fanfic male character I writing who is a demimonster being half human on his dad's side and half manticore on his mom's side as well as Dr.Thorn's grandson who is having his own existential crisis of choosing to whether to be a human or fulfill the duty of a monster thanks to his grandfather's expectations and hunt down demigods. I am still deciding whether to make his father a clear sighted mortal or a demigod tho. If demigod, I would make it Hecate or Dinosyus as his divine relative on the character's father's side. If Dinosyus, it would be diabolical given how Dr. Thorn died.)

Given how traumatized Apollo was in the Hidden Oracle about his acne and flab given how perfect he always looked, do you think while claiming his children he usually also gives them glowups kinda like how Aphrodite did while claiming Piper?

How do you think the story would have changed and progressed if Nico died in the titan's curse in the junkyard of the gods at the hands of Talos (let's say in this au, the propehcy demanded a team but Zoe insisted with leaving with a team of 4 aka herself, Bianca, Thals and Grover. Regardless, Nico tagged along with Percy in the quest citing the team requirement and his wish to help his sister in her first quest?) and Bianca saw this happen before her eyes.

This while she was starting to regret leaving Nico to join the Hunt and the Talos was raised by her touching the statue of Hades to gift to Nico. Perosnally I think that she would have unlocked her powers completely from the sheer emotional toll and blaming Percy and herself for Nico to also leave her forever and perhaos ran away crying like Nico did. (She was barely 12 seemingly in this book and she can totally act like this under that level of emotional strain)

What do you all think?

Suppose in an au the dorm arcs happen in the order of the movies they are based on (this was a bit referenced in the order in which the dorm leaders fought overblot Malleus in book 7) instead of the current order, which one would be most suitable for the story to still work?

1. Newest to Oldest: (Ignihyde, Savanaclaw, Heartslabyul, Octavinelle, Scarabia, Diasomnia, Pomefiore)

2. Oldest to Newest: (Pomefiore, Diasomnia, Scarabia, Octvianelle, Heartslabyul, Savanclaw, Ignihyde).

Perosnally I would have liked the first one among the two. Yu wakes up at Styx instead and meets the Shroud family as well as Grim (a beserk test subject who is also Idia's unofficial pet) for the first time, cue when Idia goes overblot while his parents are away thanks to phantom Ortho, Yu and robo Ortho as well as Grim (who would somehow have the ability to power up from blot consumption like he seemingly has but doesn't go full beserk) to stop Idia (prolly with a power of friendship move given they can't use all 3 thunderspears like canon or Idia volunteerly breaks free of his overblot). As a reward, Mrs Shroud keeps Grim and robo Ortho's request to attend magic school as students and Yu gets sent too with them while the Shroud family can find a way to send Yu back home. Tho the Shrouds have another objective, given the mysterious magical energy that they are hearing emanating from NRC even tho Crowley is mum about it and Yu, Ortho and Grim are kinda also Idia's assistants at spying for Styx. Cue being Styx sponored students, Yu and Grim stay at Ramschakle while robo Ortho recruits in Ignihyde as an official Android student also Idia who saw himself as trash till then is shocked when he becomes the new dorm leader of Ignihyde from this year starting his character arc of slowly gaining confidence. Ortho replaces Ace and Deuce as Yu's first friend. Also Mr. and Mrs. Shroud would feature more in the story and be Yu's unoffical parental figures.

What are all of your opnions on this? Also if you chose the first one like me, how would you all have handled the dorm arcs in that order happening after Ignihyde?

If you could change any one of the NRC twst characters unique magic, which one would it be? Perosnally for me it would be Idia given one underwhelming and limited his unique magic is general. The second option is Jack for me.

So I am writing chapter 3 of my Bianca di Angelo fic which takes place in Westover Hall and officially debuts Nico and Bianca as well as Grover. So I have a query. Given this fic happens in the Lightning Thief timeline with Grover being sent here instead of Yancy thanks to Bianca and Nico being released earlier, I have a query on introducing Percy. Should I wait till the third book to introduce him when now Bianca and Thalia with Annabeth go to Yancy during it's prom to help Grover take Percy to camp or change the lore to introduce Percy in the first book itself as a new transfer student to Westover?

How would the story have changed if Nico had chosen revenge on Zeus for killing his mother as well as Percy for supposedly taking away his sister and swore allegiance to Kronos raising him? Also what if Ethan had joined Percy instead in the arena wanting to change the status of minor demigods in ways other than joining Kronos instead?

I have kinda come across a scenario online that makes Luke and Octavian as siblings who were separated thanks to their mad mother and one of the other reasons Luke and Thalia bonded. That would make Octavian a Roman child of Mercury too and Luke a legacy of Apollo too.

What other suggestions do you guys have to make this au work?

My fanfic on Bianca di Angelo has started serializing on AO3 starting today and chapter 1 is out. Do check it out everyone. My account name is NightLord789.

So firstly, the Bianca fic I talked about on this subreddit previously would start serializing on my AO3 account from the 1st of May.

Secondly, the fanfic idea where I need assitance on. Basically it's a time travel au centering around Ethan Nakamura who kinda instead of dying travels back to his own past but in an altered reality thanks to Nyx and the Fates. But breaks loose when he realizes he is a supposed member of the rumored Roman camp he heard about while in the titan army. Also he is a son of one of the big 3 now (alebit still a champion of Nemesis) and he can't speak about the info he already knows about from his relaity here as well as can't go back and find the greek camp.

Now here are my questions:

1. Should I go ahead and make killing Kronos or rather Saturn and the great prophecy a Roman problem now? Or keep it just Greek like canon?

2. Which big 3 should I make him a child of Neptune or Pluto?

3. Should I let Luke visit the Roman camp as a supposed emissory of Saturn (Romans saw Kronos' Roman form as a good guy and created Saturnalia to honor him) bearing good will but instead starts creating diversions? Or should I let him not know about camp jupiter?
