Keto and Fitness. I’m just plain weak

So I’ve tried keto on and off throughout my life and always got the flu and just felt terrible. Yes I lost weight but was always tired weak and in bed. It is very hard to to a physical job as a flight attendant during the first week of the keto flu. I’m wondering if I need to to be on high protein and strength training with moderate carb intake first. I know people say it is normal for the first week and to take salt and electrolytes and so forth. As a woman over 50 I need to be doing strength training and to just be strong and feel good.

It seems that I need to actually take a week off to try another round of keto while feeling like crap and getting weak and losing muscle. I want to feel strong and get my confidence to build a fitness routine again. I’ll end up stopping the exercise and lose motivation. I love it when I get back in the saddle and start lifting and feeling stronger. Keto will dehydrate me and discourage me. Ten it leads me to quit training. I’m so confused. Is keto just not for me? Is it something that I would need to try after a few weeks of building strength? I feel that it just stunts my progress and then I end up quitting. Combining keto diet with more carbs seems to be a bad choice that would make me gain weight.

I know that people will say to go wild with salt and electrolytes but it is easy to get dehydrated with my job. I’m feeling horrible and not strong enough to work my physical job that consists of 12-16 hour days. I had to drop my trip tomorrow. Any advice. I need to be strong and get my vitamins and not flush them down. should I do a no sugar and high protein diet with moderate carbs. Please help a girl out! I was so strong last week starting a new strength training program but now I could barely walk through the terminal when I commuted to base and has to stop and rest. My brain is totally fried too.

Routes With More Checked Bags

I’m still fairly a newbie only 2 years in so I might have a dumb question. I’m starting to realize that the flights with more checked bags have less drama, smooth and fast boarding, and the result is a flight with positive vibes. It seems that boarding sets the tone for the flight the same way that a bad morning affects your entire day. I’m thinking Caribbean flights? It seems that 90 percent of entitled passenger complaint postings involve them having to suffer the horrors of baggage claim or seeing open bins with space. These poor suffering souls! How can they enjoy Hawaii when they had to wait for luggage to come to them in a conveyer belt? Life is so hard for them. I’m probably one of the few FAs that check my luggage when I travel one leg cuz I hate lugging around my baggage. Carrying all my crap around when I travel is a nuisance and I’ve personally hated it before I was a FA and still do.
