Attending English Language Service
I arrived in Santiago yesterday (6.27.26) and after collecting my Compostela and as I was heading out, I was greeted by a wonderful Camino Companions volunteer, Maureen. I learned about the English mass that is held every day at 10:30 am except Wednesdays. It was a beautiful, intimate service. Each person was invited to stand up, state their name, and where they were from. I did my Camino solo and stayed in hotels, so I had little interaction with others along the way. It was lovely and very moving when we were invited to say the Lord’s Prayer in our own languages. The Camino Companions was not an organization I knew anything about & I’m so grateful for connecting with them. I stayed for a coffee and the reflection circle-again, it was wonderful.
