Why I'm helping Sophie blow up the Windmill? I don't get it.

So I give the first water tower to survivors, I just didn't wanted PK to strong arm the Bazzar despite I'm not liking them a bit (well Sophie and Barney).

Anyway I went to the Barney place in the hotel, found the Lucas skin, fought Barney and suddenly after short convo. I'm helping Sophie blow up the PK tower and kill them because they will not be able to power UV lamps?

I thought I will just turn the skin to Aitor and be done with Sophie and Barney...I don't remember what was the big conversation decision which switched me to this path? How much do I need to rollback? Is there any middle way I'm looking for?

Was Eugene flipped because he threatened the jury in the Junior trial?

Just noticed that it was actually Eugene who threaten the jury in convenience store with his daughter.

Considering that he was genuinely broken about it and clearly had problems with conssensius, could he report this later to the FBI which then pressed Eugene?

I mean it's 10-20 years, and who knows how many chargers they could have on top of it.

I'm clueless and hopeless - Radeon RX 6800 XT Sapphire.

I'm clueless and hopeless about this problem, I just don't know anymore

Radeon RX 6800 XT Sapphire.

Every time I play any game, the screen switches to black, display loses input, eventually I lose sound and I'm forced to restart.

Sometimes this disables the GPU and I have to enable/disable/enable in Device Manager to get it running again.

Lately not even that happens; it's still active in Device Manager but I just get a black screen and it's not possible to interact with anything.

I checked Event Viewer, error codes, no smoking gun pointing me to some solution.

  1. Reinstalled Windows - issue went gone for about a week or two, then it happened again. Once it starts to happen, it's constant.
  2. I ran several stress tests, I can otherwise use the PC for whatever. This only triggers when the game is started.
  3. Updated BIOS, rolled back drivers (DDU) from 26.X.X too 25.X.X up to 22.X.X version, flashed VBIOS (issue again went gone for about a week), switched VBIOS to silent mode, made sure everything is up to date, disabled through registry for Windows to update GPU drivers.
  4. Checked that all power cables inside casing are correctly seated, graphics card is correctly seated, tested monitor/HDMI cable with another device - no issue there (don't have a spare GPU to test).
  5. Made sure RAM sticks are correctly seated and reseated them, switched to a different power outlet.

Again, I ran several stress tests, all went fine. I even played "Suzerain", which my mobile phone can run just fine; it's a text-based game and it crashed in the same way. I started HOI4 and left it in the background on another tab; in the meantime it was running while I was browsing, listening to YouTube, then I switched to the game while it was still in a static menu and it crashed in the same way.

There doesn't even need to be any meaningful utilization, any reason to overheat, any stress, but once I switch to the game it takes a few seconds or minutes to crash.

If this was happening under heavy load I would somewhat understand why, but this just doesn't make sense to me at all...Issue started about month or two ago.

RX 6800 XT getting constantly disabled during gaming

A few weeks ago, I started getting crashes during gaming - the screen would turn black, while the audio continued for a while, and I had to reset the PC. After that, the GPU would be disabled, and I had to disable/enable it again to get it working.

  • I checked inside the case and everything seems to be connected properly - no loose or damaged cables, and nothing appears to be burning.
  • The RAM sticks are securely fitted.
  • I tried a different power outlet and power cable.
  • I tried undervolting, overclocking, and limiting FPS in games, but nothing changed.
  • I ran several stress tests, but none of them caused any crashes, tempts are in limits
  • I uninstalled, reinstalled, and rolled back the drivers.
  • I reinstalled Windows, and the problem seemingly disappeared for two weeks without Adrenalin installed.
  • The crash happened again, I installed Adrenalin and now the game can't keep running for even a two minutes
  • Turned off FreeSync, cleaned the case from dust once more, and made sure everything was seated properly, but it’s still unusable.
  • This only happens during gaming not while streaming or running any other software. It’s not even demanding games either (it’s mostly just Paradox spreadsheet simulators)
  • Am I cooked?
