My roommate bought this watch yesterday. (Couldn't be able to take a photo of his watch so uploading ss from the internet)
The model number on the tag is Casio A963. I searched for the model number but it's not available on any official casio website, it's only available on a third party website which looks fishy.
Just wanted to confirm, if this model really exist or it's just a fake copy selling under the casio name !!

I am a newbie in the watch community. About 8 months ago, when I wanted to buy a watch, I started looking at brands like Titan, Fastrack, Fossil, etc. I didn't know the difference between fashion watches and genuine watches, so I bought the Titan Workwear Chrono watch.
While looking for that watch, I developed an interest in watches and got to know how big this world is. I deep-dived into the stories of Casio, the history of Seiko, the engineering of G-Shock, the beauty of Timex, and suddenly all the fashion watches looked worthless to me. Even my new watch, which I had bought just 3 months ago for ₹5k, wasn't giving me the happiness that searching different casio and wishlisting them was giving me. I started yapping about Casio watches with my friends and colleagues. (Now they call me watch nerd, hehe)
The stories of the F91W made me believe that watches are not worth their price, but their quality and engineering. I decided that I would build my collection not for fashion or price, but for the happiness each watch would give me. Deep down, I had already decided to start my collection with the Casio F91W.
And this June, in my birthday month, my very close friend gifted me the same watch i was dreaming everyday, Casio F91W. 🥹 (Thanks to all my yapping. 😄) I have never been this happy wearing a watch.Finally, I am a proud member of the Casio community.
