T werdermannianus/terscheckii?

Yesterday, I bought two small pots, each containing three cacti, at Lidl, a European grocery chain, for a total of 7 euros (3.50 + 3.50).

I repotted them in a well-draining mineral soil mix, though I usually compost on top of the soil afterwards and let water transport it down in the pot, until I achieve the right drainage speed.

Once they start growing, or next year I’ll need to move some of them into their own individual pots.

Some of the cactuses have black spots but now they have a well draining soil and my balcony have a roof that protects against direct rain.

It feels like I got a bargain.

Norrköping's 100th Annual Cactus Planting (Sweden)

For 100 years Norrköping in Sweden have had a cactus exhibition every summer. The cactuses are stored during the winter and the next year they are planted in a new unique formation. No year is the same.

I was there 2 weeks ago. It was a lot of cactuses, semperivivums, delospermas and some euphorbias too. Many of their very old columnars from earlier years have unfortunately died but the plantation is very impressive anyway.

Royal Oak, Pelargonium quercifolium

My Royal Oak got its first flowers today. It is the first year I have this old cultivar.

Some say it smells like balm, others that it smells like a car repair shop! I would say it is a nice car repair shop scent with subtle notes of citrus, mint and resin.

I really like this clone and hope I can keep it the rest of my life!

Triggered today.

It has been warm weather and many people dress more revealingly.

I usually manage to let go of a trigger, but today was the third time since December that it has been difficult to mentally let go.

After a number of sober years, it is usually easy to let go of triggers.

The important thing for me these days is that I take care of my routines with my higher power morning and night and that I sleep well. None of this happened today because I had to get up early and take care of some tasks.

I tried calling out but got no answer.

So now I am writing here and I will be participating in an online meeting tonight.
