All done, for now...

Started as a humble P365x, my first gun. Went down the rabbit hole from there. Happy with the build, only thing I may get in the future is an AXG grip module if they make one with a safety cut out.

Parts List:
- Romeo X Compact Enclosed
- Chopped and stippled X-Macro grip
- Radian Ramjet 3.1"
- TLR-7 Sub with Tactical Development rail
- Maskas Precision extended mag release
- OEM extended slide catch
- +10% power trigger return spring

[TOMT] A clip of a guy with a British accent who has "really bug thing for cars."

Trying to find a clip (possibly seen on an old TheRussianBadger video) of a guy with a british sounding accent who says something close to "I have really big thing for cars, its focking weird. I just wanna be with them, I just wanna touch em."

Started life as a P365X (My first gun), thought it was a little tough to shoot, and it all went downhill from there. Shoutout to u/goatnickels for the grip chop and stippling.

Tried a Bodyguard 2.0 at a LGS and it felt pretty damn good in the hand for how tiny it is. Left me wondering why the company behind the P365 still hasn't made a true (modern) pocket pistol. The P238 exists but only holds 6+1 and is over 5 ounces heavier and 0.2" thicker.

I think with the experience and success the P365 had Sig could do killer job with a standard and comped model. The P380 would be a cool name but seems like its already taken by Kahr lol.

I currently have a Quest 2 that I use for PCVR gaming, though nowadays I don't use it much for several reasons and problems I have with it, such as:

  • Really don't like Meta/Horizon OS and having to use Virtual Desktop to play PCVR. Steam Link doesn't work for me, so I have several "layers" running (Horizon -> Virtual Desktop -> SteamVR). Not seamless and probably hurts performance and battery life.
  • Battery life when playing lasts about an hour, which gets uncomfortable.
  • Low FOV and screen door effect (To be expected with old hardware ik)

Eyeing the Steam Frame for the upgrade and so far it seems that it would solve most of these issues. I know that the Frame isn't out yet but we know it's specs and have a good idea of it's what to expect and that it'll probably cost more than the Quest 3 and less than the Index.

I'm just not sure whether it's worth spending that much when I likely will use it a few times a week max, more than the Quest at least. And after having the Quest 2 for 4 years I was mostly hoping to upgrade a headset with a more "dramatic" increase in resolution and FOV. Basically I don't want to get the Steam Frame and be a little underwhelmed.
