Machine Strike could use its own standalone game

Like I said in the title. Machine Strike would probably do well as a mobile game or something of the sort, much like Gwent from the Witcher series. Of course, like Gwent, it would need a bit of a overhaul and polishing to make it work as a standalone title. However considering how much I loved the mobile version of Gwent I feel like it would be really cool to see what they could come up with. Im a big fan of games within games like this anyway. What would you guys change or tweak from Machine Strike as it is in the main game in order to make a playable standalone version? Any ideas?

People dont understand the Improved Icerail

The Improved Icerail is probably my favorite weapon in the game and im convinced that nobody really understands it based on the top three (archived) posts you get when searching about it on Google. By the time you would have access to it, assuming you didn't rush into the dlc first thing, you should he swimming in chillwater and shards, so resources to craft shouldnt be too big of an issue, but thats besides the point. The thing is a fricken ice rail gun. You stack the elemental bow with freeze mods and use that to freeze machines easily, then slam their weak spots with the icerail cannon. If you slap purple damage mods on it you can 2-3 shot frozen stormbirds and thunderjaws, one shot a rockbreaker, and one shot every machine below that tier of enemy. Frostclaws and fireclaws are the exception but even against those it deals with them in short order. I prefer to slap pure damage mods on it myself but considering the complaints I've seen with how slow to fire the cannon can be, you can easily just replace them with handling mods without really losing out too much on its effectiveness considering it has the highest base damage out of any weapon in the game already. Honestly the fire rate isnt even that big of an issue if you're halfway decent and managing distance when you engage your enemy. Why is everybody sleeping on this? Or at least why do so many people seem to not understand how to use it effectively?

Edit: wanted to add that with the extra ammo crafting skill, and with hunting specifically large machines like stormbirds and thunderjaws, assuming youre hitting their weakspots with every shot and freezing them with the elemental bow beforehand, you can honestly turn a profit even despite its high resource demand.

I had a random join halfway through my hunt (zinogre) and he spammed the "lets capture it!" Chat option when it was low health. I spammed "attack!" Back at him. He still decided to capture it anyway. I wanted to kill it. I thought following the lead of the person who created the hunt was common courtesy? Whats with that. im still relatively new to MH in general so maybe Im missing something

They're not TOO difficult mind you, but im really feeling the spike. This is my first monster hunter, i did village quests to familiarize myself with the game before moving on to the hub quests. Did my first one hunting a Rathalos, and boy you can really feel the extra hp. Unfortunately im on ps5, and if what ive seen online is correct, this isnt the most active platform for random multiplayer. Especially at low rank. so even with putting a join request out, I didnt get a single person to join and help the entire mission, and i was there for a solid 20 minutes at least. This is gonna suck into i can get into HR and MR, isnt it?
