Infotainment system upgrade

Today I received my Suzuki S-Cross 2017 with this Infotainment system. I was able to pair my phone and use the call function but not the GPS system since there is no SD card inserted.

I would like to use my Android phone to use Google Maps / Audible / Spotify while driving.

Is that possible with the current infotainment system or do I need to upgrade to a 3rd party system and have it installed?

I viewed multiple videos where people install the new system themselves and have trouble getting the rear camera to work. Even the comment section in the videos have multiple people asking for a solution.

Eerste gezinsauto na leasecontract

Beste lezers,

5 jaar geleden met een beetje stress een lease contract aangegaan (Nissan Juke 2023) doordat er een baby op komst was en ik totaal geen verstand van auto's had/heb. Nu het contract afloopt willen wij kijken naar een eigen tweede hands gezinsauto.

De Juke rijdt naar mijn ervaring erg fijn, maar weinig vergelijkingsmateriaal. Ik ben bang dat dit te duur wordt om over te nemen.

Hieronder wat info en wat ik fijn vind / leuk lijkt. (Geen harde eisen)

- benzine

- 6 km enkele reis woon - werkverkeer

- incidenteel ritje schoonouders (50 km)

- trekhaak (later te bevestigen?)

- uitstraling totaal onbelangrijk

- auto vakantie binnen EU 1x per jaar (heb een dakkoffer, maar bagageruimte zal fijn zijn)

Budget liefst onder de 10k

Het kopen van een auto brengt veel vragen bij mij op:

- Particulier vs bedrijf / garage

- waar op te letten bij testrit?

- onderhandelen mogelijk?

- max aantal km stand belangrijk?

Wellicht dat ik nog veel meer vergeet qua het geven van informatie.

Gudnak - Storage solution

I recently bought a second hand copy of Gudnak from Chaotic Great.

The corebox is severely damaged and not usable anymore.

The cards are square and are 70mm x 70mm. (Sleeved they are 73mm x 73mm)

The total amount of cards is 535. I hope to buy the upcoming expansion in fall 2026 (not sure how many cards are in that set)

I'm looking for a deckbox or some way to store all the cards. I can make my own dividers and own a 3d printer so that might help narrowing it down.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Rooster achtergevel

OPGELOST: Hetgeen wat ik zocht heet blijkblaar 'RenoFix RVS renovatierooster'

Bij mijn achtergevel heb ik meerdere van dit soort roosters zitten. Ik kom echter niet op de naam hoe dit heet. Mocht iemand mij kunnen helpen, heel graag.

Ook gelijk een vraag hoe ik dit het best kan vervangen? Is dit gewoon los te trekken of is dit vast gemetseld toen de muur werd gebouwd?

GPU Upgrade

Recently I got the urge to play some racing games and I stumbled upon Forza Horizon 6.

Since my setup is a little bit older, especially the GPU, the game crashed multiple times.
I got the GPU from my brother a few years ago while building his PC. Since then I am out of the game and I'm not up to date what is good atm.

My current setup is:

GPU: EVGA Geforce GTX 1080 FTW2
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5600X
Ram: 32GB DDR4 (3200 Mhz)
Motherboard: MAG X570 Tomahawk WIFI
Storage: 2TB Samsung SSD 980 Pro
OS: Windows 11

Budget is €1000 max.
Location: The Netherlands

I am looking for something that I can use for a few years. I'm not someone who wants to play every game on ultra settings. I mostly stick to retro games or Indie games on steam. This game is more of an exception.
