Cat isn't pooping in litterbox
My cat is 1 yr old neutered and when we got him, already knew how to use the litter box. Now for the past few weeks he's been pooping other places. He's been peeing in the box but when he has to poop, he goes on the couch or kitchen floor. He poops once a day and doesn't seem to have any strain, does it really quick. It's not hard but not too soft, pretty average and we just don't know why he's doing it outside. I frequently clean the litter box and he's the only cat who uses the litter box because our other cat just prefers to do her business outside. He is a strictly indoor cat unlike our other cat. He pees in the box perfectly fine but pooping is anywhere else. There's not really any other behavioral issues. He's a sweet boy and he's pretty active, pooping is the only problem.
