Surprisingly good

I went for demo drive yesterday and drove both Touring and the Grand Touring. I am looking for a true 3 row suv which is comfortable and spacious for six people and their stuff on road trips.

I was surprised how spacious the3rd row is and not cramped like most of the 3 row SUVs. Also the seat was not close to the ground. It offers decent leg support and two adults could actually sit there comfortably on a day long drive.

My question to the owners here is, how is your experience so far? I find gravity a better option than the R1S, however not sure how the service center experience is and will fit and finish last or the vehicle start to rattle after driving bumpy roads of New England. A couple of my friends who owned R1S are not happy with the service experience and the number of issues they had with their vehicles.

Edit: Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences it is making a strong case for it. In fact the other vehicle on my short list fell short. I was cross shopping BMW X7, went for a test drive today and didn't even test it. For its size there is hardly any storage space. My current family hauler offers more space which is 3-4 inches shorter in length. This brings me back to Lucid Gravity.

Food allergies

We are planning a trip to Istanbul this summer. One of my kids has severe allergies to dairy products, even cross contact to milk, cheese, yogurt etc. causes a reaction. Given that many of the Turkish restaurants and cuisine use butter, cream, cheese, yogurt etc. and there are communication barriers, what would be the best approach to minimize a medical emergency? How could I relay to the serving staff about the allergies so they could avoid cross contact in the kitchen or when serving food to our table?

Could anyone with food allergies share their experience or recommendation. I truly appreciate it. Thanks!

3+ year old Refurbished by BTOD and Crandall

Hi All,

I am looking to buy an ergonomic chair as I work from home full time. In the past the steelcase chairs had caused tailbone pain at my work years ago. I bought a cheap chair from Home Depot when I first started working from home more than a decade ago. While that $200 chair held up well especially the seat it has started to make lots of creaks as I shift. I could buy that again but i really want a chair with 4D arm rest and lumbar support.

Crandall and BTOD refurbished Steelcase come often on my search results. I am seriously thinking about buying Leap v2 refurbished from one of these vendors but wanted to hear if anyone had any issues with tailbone pain from those refurbished models after 3-5 years of use? Also is this kind of issue covered by their 12-year warranty?
