Anyone else’s game removed from the library??

We have already played 40+ hours, but when we wanted to play again today, the game was removed from the library.

Yes it is the correct account. We are connected to the wifi.

The license was also removed, so we can’t restore it. It is also removed from the purchasing history.

We clearly have all the payment details (through our creditcard app). It also shows all our trophies, says “continue playing” and it is in our download history.

It takes us to the playstation store to buy it AGAIN when we click on “play”.

Playstation support is a nightmare.

Is anyone else experiencing this?? We are loosing our minds trying to figure out a solution. Any tips/ advice welcome!!!!

Edit: thanks all for the messages, but these are all things we have tried and failed. Although we truely appreciate anyone who has tried to help, it is only frustrating at this point. We will contact support until we finally talk to a real human.

Hack for reporting Shein on Vinted

Okay so listen… I’m not inherently against selling Shein on Vinted. If someone is able to sell it (even for a few bucks), this is better than letting it end up in landfill.

HOWEVER

What pissed me tf off is when they sell it under “Vintage Dressing” or Japandi Style.

So this is what you do:

Report it as misleading branding. If you can see the brand on the item, this is especially easy. I have had many successes reporting it.

Depending on the specific listing, you may have varying success. If you are able, add a screenshot of the SHEIN listing.

Note: don’t automatically assume something is from SHEIN. The goal is to report shitty resellers trying to scam people, not someone who happens to have something vintage or from an unknown brand.

If you purposely sell Shein without disclosing it, you deserve the pear of anguish.

I said I would update my previous post if I needed it to retain my sanity. Link: https://www.reddit.com/r/Romantasy/s/FjD2kdoe55

I finished it yesterday evening. Today is Liberation day, and I can conclusively say that I do feel liberated from this book and AA. It couldn’t have been a more fitting day.

Fair is fair, I finished it in appr 2-3 days. That hasn’t happened in a long time (I previously was reading the Mistborn Saga). That is where my praise stops, because the reason why I finished it that quickly was because of the ridiculous spacing and sheer will to get it over as quickly as possible.

I’ll be readressing some points from my previous post if i need to rant further on it.

Meet Aris, our “I-am-so-poor-and-starving-and-smol-and-pretty-and-skinny” FMC. She enters the Culling (sort of pre-trail setting). AA immediately wants us to know 3 things:

  1. She is “bad ass” (ohhhh look at meee, unassuming woman nobody suspect me *INSERT FIGHTING SCENE HERE*
  2. She is pretty (because almost immediately she gets SH’ed. I feel like AA makes all FMC look like herself and this is some CNC dream for her)
  3. She is poor (it has only been mentioned 50 times per page)

She completes the Culling, and we have to believe this is a very difficult event, but she completes it relatively easily. She cut’s up someone’s hand(s?) and made it to the Questral, which contains of more trials. Her entire reason to compete in the Questral is revenge on the god that killed her family, instead of most people who just want a cup of magic.

Now, the previous set up would make us believe that she is the stone cold FMC AA is trying to portray to us, but this is almost immediately diminished by her not killing Stellan to obtain ownership of the dagger after he is almost killed. She knows how it works, he is dying, and it feels immediately inconsistent with the set up of hef character. She would do anything to enter the Questral, but she draws a line at killing a dying man to prevent his Starside dagger being owned by someone else.

Already the set up at the Kings Castle feels so similar as the scene in Lightlark where they meet the King. This is where “the curtain falls”: the King assists the Challengers in the Questral, trading it for half of their magic. Aris comes to this conclusion in around 3 lines before he says it himself, and I as a reader can only think:

  1. Seems fair enough since he is providing you with swords. Also, you DON’T HAVE TO TAKE IT. He is set up to be some evil guy -and he is most certainly not a good king- but not as evil as Aris portrayed him.
  2. It is SO ON THE NOSE and AA writes it as if this is the big reveal of the century for Aris, but they don’t mean to be secretive of it at all.
Well, all above doesn’t matter anymore because the King is not mentioned or relevant anymore, so we can just forget about this I guess.

Now, let’s enter the actual Questral: Aris makes friends and they become irrelevant after 1/4 of the book, pray tell why do I need to invest in these people when they’re gone for 3/4. Same with the dragon. THE WHOLE PURPOSE of going to the Beast tree, a detour from the regular path on a time crunch, was to bond with a creature. AND ARIS DOES, with a DRAGON, A FLYING BEING THAT CAN TAKE HER WHERE SHE NEEDS TO BE IN 7 DAYS. They get seperated (her friends and the dragon) and she is like: welp, i guess im alone now. Little to no effort is made to contact either one, and they to become irrelevant until the last 20 pages.

Now, here is the time for MMC to enter: Raker. The whole time, we don’t know why she hates him. But we are reading in FIRST POV. She knows why she hates him, but we don’t. This seems like a strange decision on AA’s part. We as readers should know everything the MC knows when reading in first POV.
“Ohhh, but Aris pushes everything down, she burries eveything down, that is why we don’t know” I.DON’T.CARE. Every five lines she has some flashback, the least she could do is fucking finish one of them.
Well, off with our hooded-mysterious-MMC and small-petite-poor-FMC. Suddenly, Aris has become entirely incapable since the Culling and gets herself almost killed every corner. I don’t get why AA first writes Aris as a can-do-I-am-so-skilled FMC, but the moment she wields another sword, she forgets everything she has learned and has the coordination of a five year old. Yes, I know it is mentioned that it is heavy, and that she is used to lesser metals, but years of training should at least give her some edge, where there seems to be none.

The whole time Aris and Raker are together, they are fighting and pushing and pulling. The whole bit reads as an escalated forest hike, with here and there some obstacles thrown at them. And more “glaring” at eachother. And then, another enemy. More glaring. Then, someone who helps. More glaring. I swear, if I got a penny for everytime they glared at each other, my student debt would be paid in full including interest.

Well, at some point, they fuck. AA doesn’t want us to forget they still hate each other though, at it is only mentioned at least 10 times during the sx scene. I believe this scene was only included to make Raker’s leave more painful. I cannot grasp the concept that you get wet from someone you truly, desperately hate (imo this was also bad planning on AA’s part, since for most of the book, we don’t know why she hates him, but she has the hots for him, therefor I don’t believe her when she says she hates him). Now, we do know why she hates him (fair enough reason) but now I wonder why she would even be attracted to him in the first place. No amount of pretty-mysterious-MMC should be able to replace that. If you are saying it should, then she couldn’t be hating him as much as she claimed.

Now, Raker left her, *insert SA attempt from other challengers* and now we can go back to the task at hand, which is KILLING THE FUCKING GOD WHO MURDERED HER FAMILY. I was wondering if that would happen within this part, as I was on the last 30-20 pages???? And the resolution was the most anticlimactic scene I have ever read in my entire life. This meeting has been built up for more than 450 PAGES(!!!!) and the resolution is within 5 PAGES, WITHOUT A FIGHT!!! Mind you, Aris was willing to DIE THERE. Fully prepared to be obliterated. They might as well have been talking it over tea and fucking cookies. “Lets make a deal” “okay” *dragon eats goddess*. This is not the flex AA thinks it was. MIND YOU, THE PREVIOUS SX SCENE WAS 13 PAGES, AND THE RESOLUTION, THE PURPOSE OF THE ENTIRE BOOK, WAS RESOLVED IN 5 !!!!! It baffles me that no one is talking about this (or that I have seen).

Now, low and behold, Raker is the God of death. We found this out relatively late, and it seems smashed in there. Of course, he wants her to join him, and she doesn’t and flees. The entire book the gods are made out to be some all-powerful beings, but the first we read about is eaten by a dragon (without ever fighting) and Aris just flees from the second one.

Now, I don’t know why AA made this a series. Aris is safe on Stormside from Raker, the gate is closed for 50 years, and after that she wants to kill Raker to get her family back, which essentially brings us back to the beginning.

Aris and Rakers arc is essentially the same as Grim’s and Isla’s. If you’ve read either Lightlark or Starside, you get the same characters with a different setting.

I feel relieved that it is over. I find peace in the fact that I will not feel fomo when Stormside comes out, and that I can disregard anything AA publishes, no matter how pretty the sprayed edges. Never judge a book by its cover.

I am about halfway with Starside and I feel myself getting dumber with the second.

First of all, it is approximately 500 pages and it could have been 300. Ridiculous spacing. I hate it when they try to make a book look “meaty” by making the pages contain 5 words and 20 enters and the spacing between words 7 cm. And it is repetative af.

Moreover, I don’t care if the FMC is pretty if it is only used to have an excuse for getting her sexually harassed every 20% (I believe it has been at least 3 times so far).

Can we also stop calling every mild annoyance enemies to lovers? Something is being built up, -at this point, I don’t know the exact reason why FMC hates him-, but now it seems like they are just annoyed with each others presence (like every romantacy atm). How they are acting towards each other is the least bit of enemies.

- he threatens to kill her the next time they meet. But he doesn’t. Every single time.
- she thinks it is because she is not “worth the effort”. Boohoo, oh woo little me so insignificant. But throughout the book, it is mentioned how effortlessly he cuts everyone down, and apparently she is incapable asf with the sword she has right now. So that tells me that, at the very least, from his side, they are not enemies. Only later in the book she becomes useful to him, and he had numerous times to cut her down before.
-So the feud is only from her side, and at this point we don’t even know exactly what he did to her (he didn’t show her mercy is all we know). Her actions make it so unbelievable that she hates him, in combination with the fact we don’t know why.

The only reason I am not dnf-ing this is because of the first reason, because it will probably be over soon. Will update / edit when I finish it if anyone is curious (or if I need it to keep my sanity)
